Government MAM College Jammu Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I had chosen the course myself but this year due to NEP we had 7 subjects which is kinda difficult for us to study .only 2 subject are main that are major and minor rest changes as per semester, so last year my multidisciplinary subject was Geography in 1st sem and then Geology in 2nd semester. There must be some changes in course. 1. Shortage must not be 75% it becomes difficult for students . 2. Teaching method must have to be improved.. Colleges have a semester of 6 months, they give information in 1 to 2 months and after some time in the semester, papers start..they should give some more time for preparation. The difficultly level of exams are not much... kinda easy paper . In minor exams the time limit is one hour and in major 2.5 hour . Sometimes time is problem too ... As I'm humanities student and we hv to write in length but sometimes due to time shortage weren't able to write much contents but overall my experience in college was good

My course is BA psychology and i am in 2nd year now till now i have no issues in studies my professors my HOD is soo polite they always help uss by providing material related to class in the groups and are very cooperative

The curriculum is flexible enough to meet my needs.It is practically useful for me.It also meets its objectives.All this influenced me and makes me to choose this course. The curriculum is designed to equip me with the knowledge and skills that i need to succeed in future academic pursuits and in life beyond school. It includes not only academic content but also important life skills, such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration. There should be some areas where there should be improvement in curriculum like:curriculum implementation,curriculum mapping,etc. Exams held 2 times in each semester which includes one minor and other major exam.The difficulty of the exam ranges from easy to moderate.

The aspects of the curriculum which make me to choose this college was the timings of the college. The curriculum prepared me very well for the real world opportunities and further academic pursuits. The teaching method should be set according to student preferences. The timings of the exams are 3 hours for 100 marks exam.

My plans after degree is to go for a descent job and with that I'll also want to look for state exams for post graduates.

I opted this college because my preference was cluster university, as I had to continue my studies in jammu only. Cluster university is one of the best university of India. I opted for BA because i am an upse aspirant so that's why i choose arts stream. And the reason for opting this course from this particular college is that if i am unable to attend my class in the college, as I have to spend max time to my studies for my competitive exam, so the staff members of my institute are very understanding and cooperating. They really help their students whenever they are having any kind of confusion or queries.

positive is this the faculty member and facilities are very good provided to students but the environment is not good for studies like strikes and light problems and lack of night liberary facility. there are not good facility for reading books. laks of books problems.

Very well , teachers ,staff, building of college all were best in providing a platform in which students can achieve his dream.There was nothing negetive ,they didn't allow any misbehavior and not any type of drugs were allowded in college premises.

In the end i give positive remarks to my college as it was very good and there was everything which we needed such as base of studies, good students, good environment for study,sports facilities,labs and everything.

Govt MAM College,Jammu is the best arts college in whole Jammu region with a plenty of subject combinations for the students If some one wants to go for civil services examinations for example Indian Administrative Services or Kashmir Administrative Services with optional subjects of arts then there is no better college in whole Jammu than Govt MAM College.
