Actually, when a student gets the admission to the PhD then, they will also have the option to give NETJRF examination to get schlorship. And government will provide a stipend of Rs. 20000-35000 (depending upon the course) every month. So, instead of giving the fee a student will get paid for doing the PhD.
The course curriculum is structured beautifully and will be taken well by the students aspiring to take up research as their career especially in the field of economics. The syllabus is good in terms of excellent exposure to many interesting research areas.
