Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placements from the end of semester 6 and the minimum criteria for the eligibility process is 6.7 CGPA for some companies while for some it exceeds 7. Companies like Deuschte bank, JPMC, Deloitte, Quantiphi visits and take their interview processes according to which students are shortlisted. Almost 98% of students applying are placed within campus placements. Almost all the companies offer a role of either Software engineer or a business analyst and sometimes sales. My plan is to sit for campus placement and get placed in one of the prominent companies visiting in TSEC with a decent package of around 7 to 10LPA.

Approximately 80% of the students got placed in the last year. Lots of companies are visiting the campus including TSC, Infosys, Accenture, Amdocs, SAP, UBS, and many more. The salary is offered in the range of 3 LPA to 20 LPA. Top recruiters are JP Morgan, Deloitte, Deutsche Bank, LTI, Quantiphi, Barclays, Interactive Brokers. The highest salary offer was 19.65 LPA offered by Deutsche Bank.

Thadomal Shahani is known for its good placements. The location of the college is also very easy to access. It was one of the few colleges that had biomedical. The teachers is the college are really helpful. The class timings are also easily manageable

I am interested in biomed field and this is one of the few colleges offering this course in mumbai along with Dwarkadas Jivanlal Sanghvi (DJ Sanghvi) in Vile Parle and Vidyalankar Institute of Technology (VIT) in Wadala East. Thadomal Shahani engineering College in Bandra (TSEC) is one of the oldest private engineering colleges affiliated to Mumbai University and Biomedical Engineering is one of the oldest courses introduced in my college.

One of the very few colleges that offers this course and was the first one to introduce it in mumbai. The staff and college is known to be good. Another good thing is about the college being in Bandra, attracts a lot of students.

Firstly, i would like to mention that biomedical engineering is not much common in Mumbai university. The program was conducted only by 4 colleges(now only 2 colleges) and amongst those, thadomal shahani has been the first college in MU to introduce this program in their college. Hence experienced faculty,which made choose TSEC

The college is best in Mumbai and offers very good education to students with overall growth of a student.Also college is situated near bandra station so it is very feasible to travel to college daily.

One of my friends graduated from Thadomal Shahani Engineering College and here's what he mentioned about the college -
- Apart from just an academic point of view, you are better off joining some other college.
- In TSEC at the end of 4 years, you do get a B.E degree but you'll be more proficient in event management, marketing, publicity, management, public speaking, and other skills.
- The teaching is similar to what you would find in any other college.
- The college is anti-ragging. People here are cooperative and friendly.
- There is healthy competition between the committees and your extracurricular skills will be encouraged.They also have a diverse student population.

- The course fee is quite high. A B.E degree costs around 2 lakhs.
- The faculty is average, but you shouldn't rely on them too much.
- Thadomal Shahani does not have a campus. The college is just a building.
