A great college you should choose

Likes

Teachers friendly behavior helps us alot in understanding alot things more easily
Students here are so well disciplined and well behaved so no one can feel unsafe or out of the group
No raging are done here so freshers can be freely rome around the college and feel free to ask any help with others senior

Dislikes

Language barrier , many students who are coming from another state to study here takes time to adjust with this climate and Language communication
Location of the college is little bit far from the city areas so students who comes from main city areas have to travel alot to reach here and daiky basis travel is quit difficult
Electricity frequency is quite weak here so some times the electric current cuts off so the we have to wait few sec to start the generator

The availability and strength of specific majors the reputation and quality faculty that attracts me towards this college. The faculty members are amazing they will support you in studies and extra curriculum activities.
College environment is friendly and it's located in a peaceful place.
Infrastructure of classroom is decent and laboratories are well maintained.

Dislikes

There will be some kind of Favoritism in students from the selective members of faculties.
There is a lot of student's speaking in native language.

I have applied in du, gnit and got confirmed seats in du but due to family reasons I didn't make it in du. And in gnit i didn't got a seat in cse department as it was full but it was offering me aiml. Then there was svist which was closed to my house and was providing the course. I haven't scored enough marks to get in nit jadabpur they were offering civil engineering. Admission process was quite easy in this college you just have to pass through counseling.

My pov about my college life

Likes

My college is quite affordable and cheaper than others
Infrastructure is good as a private college with having space.
Boys and gril ration is 3:1 and i must say it's a crowded college.

Dislikes

I have to travel almost 16 km to go to the college
The college is literally placed in a village
I don't like to wear uniforms in college

Admission:

I choose this college because its affordable, i and in kolkata its only college which is affordable for me . The distance is quiet lengthy but i dont have any problem to manage . And i got direct admission because my hs marks is not that low.

The best thing is heres faulty, I like them most. They will help you in possible way in any time.
2nd thing is placement, major tech companies came to hire like Amazon , wipro, infosys, cisco,TCS, Capgemini, HCL, Tech Mahindra, Byjus etc
The one more thing I like is green campus full of fresh air very good for study.

Dislikes

One thing is it's location, it's located in semi urban area.But it's ok.
One more thing is infrastructure, it's not too modern like other(techno, heritage, ) but it's good according to price .,
Canteen is not full equipped with food., only few food options available.

I also applied GNIT ( GURU NANAK INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY), but I did not took there admission due to study quality, fees. They was charging 6lak for IT course and 8 Lak for BTECH CSE COUrse,.so i rejected that college and found this college, this college offers all btech(ece, eee, cse, ai-ds,civil, me) couse with best affordable price , and high quality study .to take admission, you can contact college office , or College website. Overall admission experience is good enough.

College Management is very student friendly.😁
No ragging or union formation allowed.💪🏻
Mentorship from the teachers who are our mentors is A1 quality.😎

Dislikes

Canteen food doesn't taste good🤢. There's food available outside the college where you can surely have a feast😋.
Getting connected to the principal can be hectic sometimes due to ongoing classes and meetings but once you get there's always a solution.
The lab equipments can be a problem to handle but with the proper guidance from the teachers it's easy peasy to go with.

Admission:

I had applied for other colleges like Techno Main and many others but what attracted me to this college is something extraordinary. Before talking about the magnets of my college let's first get into "Why not the other one's?" 1. College fees was out of my reach. Yes, if I wanted to read there my parents could have surely afforded it for me, but with loans! Really blessed to have such parents ??. 2. The reviews that got my eyes. Yes, everyone of them had their pros and cons but SVIST stood out of the box for me. 3. I wasn't able to find the suitable course for me at my pocket friendly cost. Now to the magnets: 1. When I entered the college premises, the first vibe I got was "This is where my mid journey begins!" 2. The fees structure, pocket friendly obvio. 3. From the beginning they were very friendly and guided very well. The admission process is very simple: - You just need the xerox of HS and your JEE or WBJEE result, aadhaar card, birth certificate and a pan card if you have.

The faculty members of our college are so helpful and humble to every student.
In this college every year we organise a fest,a freshers welcome and a Farewell party.
In this college the environment of tree , a pool and Flag hosting place which is front of the college gate.

Dislikes

In this college the lab room size is not much big.
The sports management are so weak and not so much sports accessories.
The college take 1000rs of fine when a student paid late semester fees.

Admission:

I applied for Swami Vivekanand University for Btech in Computer science and engineering. I didn't choose this college because it's campus size is not much big. I didn't reject from any college. The eligibility I need is only money. Every science student can get admission in this college.

Our campus is very well looking. We have 1 basketball and 2 badminton courts
The environment of our college is very good.
Our college gym is very good, there are many equipments.

Dislikes

Our college labs are like cage or something. There is always a dimish light.
The class size is not as expected at the number of students
The Campus size is very small, it's should be big in size

I am a student with science background but not succeed to crack JEE mains ar WBJEE so, I applied to other University in Physics honours. But then I came to know about Swami Vivekanand university of science and technology and I get admission here

SVIST College - from the eye of a SVISTIAN

Likes

The teachers are to much Frank with their students . They teach like from basics to advanced.
The lab facilities are very good well equipped.
Classes are never pause. Regular classes has happened and scheduled and teachers are also come there has no chance to absent any class they are strict to attend the classes.

Dislikes

Placement need to be improved more so that overall college placement increase.
Need to be improv technical classes and take more personality development courses.
Avail more courses free so that it improve student final year training and ready for job courses need to launched more

Admission:

Our college is different from other colleges in various way Teacher faculty principal hods are very much helpful towards us they helm us when we face any kind of difficulties and get rid from various problems. Regularity maintain and classes conducted every day. Personal guidance is provided.

Faculties are really good and knowledgble
The labs are well equipped and lab teachers are helpful.
The campus is really good and green. The location is decent.

Dislikes

Few faculties are really amateur. they do not teach that good.
the canteen has limited food. and quality is overall decent.

Admission:

I applied for Academy of Technology, Narula Institute of Technology, JIS college, Techno main salt lake and adamas university. But all these colleges charged too high and too much donation. And also the hostel fees was too much.
