Good, The advantages of these institutions are they provide a quality education to the students. They provide communication skills from childhood onwards. They provide all the facilities for the students.

I chose this college because it provides good scholarships for students from Sikkim. 30% of direct consession is provided to the Sikkimese students. The College is best known for its infrastructure, Excellent faculties and placements.

Some of the factors that made me choose this college are:- • SMIT provides an excellent placement in reputed organizations like Microsoft, Dell, Tech-mahindra, Wipro, Infosys, etc and has a placement rate of 90%. • Student exchange programmes by IAESTE-SMIT allows us to study in any of the 80 member countries. • The state-of-art infrastructure enhances the quality of education. • There is a teacher-guardian mentoring system that allows people monitoring of students in terms of academics or extracurricular activities. • Well experienced faculty members. • The Atal incubation Center that helps in mining out the Excellent Entrepreneurs.

I didn't selected my college. It was my family decision. They wanted me to get admission in Manipal as many of my cousins are there only. But still, the college is really good and the environment is pleasant.

I think I am in the right college and my college have given me many opportunities to explore and learn new things. Here they organise regular workshops and competition. To nourish the basics and fundamentals of the students

It is all good. Just that one may consider the fees to be a bit high, but that is again justifiable as per the facility it provides.

Management is appreciable. However, there are lot of the dimensions still which needs to be well managed such as moral values. Technically we are in right direction but in my opinion there must be a subject which is essential must be inculcate in the course such as moral.values and the humanitarian duties which will help to produce a good human being along with a good Engineer.
