• Admission to the B.Tech first year is conducted through the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP), which is a centralized counselling process managed by the Government of Rajasthan.
• Candidates must have passed Class 12 (10+2) with Physics and/or Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biology, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational subject, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, or Entrepreneurship.
• Applicants are required to obtain a minimum of 45% marks in each of the three subjects mentioned above. For candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/MBC), the minimum required marks are 40%.
• Students who have completed a three-year or two-year diploma in engineering and technology with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) from an AICTE-approved institution or UGC-recognized university are also eligible to apply, but only if lateral entry seats are not fully utilized.
• The seat matrix for each B.Tech branch includes 21 seats through REAP, 4 seats based on JEE Main merit, and 5 seats reserved under the management quota.

Reservation and Special Quota Seats

• Under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) quota, 10% additional supernumerary seats are available for students from Rajasthan whose family income is less than ₹8 lakh per annum. These seats are allotted strictly based on merit.
• The Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS) offers 5% additional supernumerary seats to eligible economically backward students from Rajasthan with an annual family income below ₹8 lakh.
• A 5% supernumerary seat quota is available for Kashmiri Migrant (KM) candidates. Students must provide valid documentation to be considered under this category.
• Under the Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS), 10 supernumerary seats are reserved for students who have passed Class 12 from J&K State Board or CBSE in J&K. Eligible students must have a family income below ₹8 lakh. These students are exempt from paying tuition and hostel fees, as the expenses are covered by AICTe.

B.Tech 2nd Year Lateral Entry through LEEP

• Admission to the second year of the B.Tech program (lateral entry) is conducted through the LEEP (Lateral Entry in Engineering Program) centralized online counselling managed by the Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan, Jodhpur.
• Candidates must hold a three-year diploma in engineering or a B.Sc. degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects from an AICTE-approved institution or a UGC-recognized university.
• The minimum qualifying marks for diploma or B.Sc. holders is 45% for General category candidates and 40% for those from reserved categories.
• Ten percent of the approved intake in each B.Tech branch is set aside for lateral entry admissions. This typically amounts to three seats per branch.
• Supernumerary seats under PMSSS are also applicable to lateral entry candidates.
