Shivalik college review

The college is situated at an easily accessible area with facilities which are required on daily basis.

Dislikes

The college classroom are not decent enough these are need to maintain a bit.

Placement Experience:

Student can seat in the pool campus placement from 6semester, a minimum package of around 5-6lakh is offered. Companies such as HCL, Infosys, Orange etc visit the college for job offers. Approximately 70-80percent students gets job from college placements.

There is best thing about this college there faculty is very friendly and supportive they are always help you to build up your career.you present your thoughts they give proper direction what to do what not.they all are always with you
Campus life is very there have many groups they encourage your skill and give proper direction.craft nexus is for craft member they always decorate any event running in campus.karvaan club ..etc there are many clubs those help you to encourage you.

Dislikes

Not any specific thing that you dislike but the college not organised workshops outside of campus.
There have many restrictions of girls I know they have to there security but also they want to some freedom.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There have many trainers and faculties member they have experience to industry is very well . They trained and guide students to there specific careers opportunities. Improvement is that they not organised after 2 weeks. And also plz help us students to in matter of universities results because they not got there marks in proper way this is very disappointing Timeing of exam is 3 hr and difficulties level is paper is very lengthy.

Our college provides students with very good teachers. They put special attention to each student. There is weekly test held on continuous basis to enhance students. There is extra classes arranged for weak students. Very good notes are provided.
Our college provides students with good environment. Good fest to enlighten the students mood . Good and fully air conditioner libraries. Good sitting place. One cafeteria to enjoy meals. Hostel food is very good.

Dislikes

The one thing that is not good about this college is that during any fest or celebration there is a barrier made between the girls and boys so that they do not come in contact during dance performance.
The other thing I dislike is the girls are not allowed to wear short clothes in campus or any party that took place in campus or fests. The are said to wear knee length dresses and not even much more backless outfits or revealing clothes.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year that is 5 th semester students are eligible for campus placements and interships. The companies who visited our campus is Deloitte, PWC, Amazon, TCS, Mahindra etc. Highest package offered currently in 2023 is 32 Lpa and 22 Lpa and average is between 5-6 Lpa.80% of the total students appeared in the placement. My plans is to pursue mtech after this.

Faculties provided by the college are supportive and helpful
Training and workshops are organized time to time by the college

Dislikes

Clubs are not active, fest and cultural events doesn't get organised timely.
The campus is too small in comparison to the crowd.

Placement Experience:

Semester in which students are eligible for campus placements - 6th sem Companies visited till now - Google, PWC, TCS, Vipro, Amazon, Netflix, Tech mahindra, etc Highest package - 47 Lpa Average package - 6 Lpa Percentage of students getting placed - 60% The companies i want to get placed in are google, Microsoft, Accenture and the companies that offers good package.

A Deep dive into shivalik college of engineering

Likes

Faculty support is good and surroundings is also nice
Classes are average but there is no problem in that

Dislikes

There are so many students from one state
The campus is not that large and you can roam there.

Faculties are very intellectual and very supportive
Environment is green and clean, which is why its very refreshing while studying.

Dislikes

hostel of the college I do not like because of so much restriction
mess food is also not that much good, and utensils are not properly cleaned.

Placement Experience:

placments began in the starting of the fourth year for b.tech . placements are good average package for btech student is 8 lpa highest package this year was 32 lpa in Autodesk at the post of data engineer and 28 lpa in BP at the post of Data Analytics. 50% students gets placed every year.

The ambience of the college is good, You get a good environment to focus on your career.
Professors are very knowledgeable and they support you in every possible way they can to enhance your skills

Dislikes

Hostel space is very less, as they do not have sufficient rooms. Workshop size is small. Mess dishes are not cleaned properly.

Placement Experience:

Placements are 7/10 in our college. Companies like tcs, tech Mahindra, wipro, adobe etc visits our college. The placement cell is strong and very active. They give opportunity to every individual who wants to sit for the campus drive.

Our college campus is so pretty, we see so many seasonal flower every year.

Dislikes

College connectivity with the city. It was so far away from city and transportation is not so strong

For Placement there is a department available which provides internship and Placements here you find Placement and internship opportunities in 3 year only
The food provide is hygiene and as compare to other colleges it was tasty

Dislikes

Nothing to dislike about this college every facilities are good here
At first hirls will fell like there are in jail but by the time you will get to know why they are doing this

The student became eligible from 3 year for sitting in placement and student will get internship in 5 or 6 sem easily. Also training started from 2 or 3 semester and while doing training some of them offers internship also
