SPIT- The most amazing 4 years of your life!

Placement Experience:

After semester 6 students are eligible for campus placements. Some of the top companies visited are phonepay, Morgan Stanley, JPMorganchase, Deutsche Bank, cashrich , nomura . The highest package offered is 35 lakhs and average package is 14 lakhs. Till now the placement percentage is 100 percent. My plan is to appear for placements after 6th sem.

for 2023-24: median package = 13 lpa They say 100% placements but its not 10-15 students still get unplaced every year they provide session for higher studies how to go abroad for higher studies so that less students apply for placement like if you study hard, you will get placement here for sure hence, Placement is not bad

Did SPIT worth it??

They do say about 100% placement but I most certainly do not think so although highest package of college is 110 lpa as they say but it was out of campus placement ,In campus the highest package they have provide is like 30 lpa around and average package is 15 lpa they say but I don't think the average package is even 10 lpa it might be around 8 to 9 lpa .

The average placement of the college is pretty good
Good aspects: Fairly huge campus, Good Teachers and staff. Good placement opportunities. The college also has facilities of an internship in the 5th semester. Good placement cell which helps students in getting placed in top companies.

One of the best things about the college is the placement records. The average placement of the college this year was about 15 lpa. The highest placement being 61 LPA. Many good companies like PhonePe, JPMC, Deutsche Bank come to the campus to hire the students.

SPIT college is very good for your bright future in engineering life.

Generally, 90% students get placed before Diwali in the final year. Those who don't get placement they can do internship from offcampus or in college. I can go to offcampus placement also—the average package of our batch in 10L per annum.

Good placements, great campus life

Students become eligible for the on-campus placements from the 6th semester. The names of some of the companies visiting the campus every year are Barclays, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, Quantiphi, PhonePe, MSCI, TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc with more than 95% of students being placed from EXTC branches. The highest package was 36.5LPA from Amazon and the average CTC is 15LPA the profiles offered are a data analyst, software developer, consultant, risk analyst, investment banking analyst etc. My plans after my Btech degree completion are to take placement for 1-2 years and then master abroad.

College Katta- The review.

The overall placements is the college is quite good, after completing the sixth semester the students were eligible to opt for college placements. The companies mostly visited to the college were Bnp Paribas, Infosys, L&T, KINAI infotech, media.net, Morgan Stanley who gives the normal package from 3- 5 lakhs per annum. These companies provides both Training + placements. the minimum package offered is 3-3.5 lakhs and max is to 5-8 lpa. Companies mainly look for developer, SDE, TESTERS INTERNS and approx. 70% students were got placed in the academic year 2018. which is quite good as compared to other collges placements. After completing this my next plan is to complete MBA IN IT in order to get skilled in management level functionalities in IT.
