SIMS B.E. Eligibility Criteria

SIMS offers admission in B.E. program for four years in various streams mentioned below:

• Information Technology
• Electronics & Communication
• Mechanical Engineering
• Civil Engineering
• Computer Science Engineering

Admissions to these programs will be done on the basis of eligibility and selection criteria set by the college. In order to be eligible for the course, candidate must have passed higher Secondary examination of the (10+2) from CBSE or MP Board or any other examination equivalent there to with minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for OBC/ MBC and SC/ST candidates) in aggregate of subjects- Mathematics, Physics and any one of the following optional subjects: Chemistry /Biotechnology/Computer Science/Biology (Botany & Zoology).

SIMS B.E. Selection Criteria

• The selection in the BE course is based on the marks obtained by the candidate in JEE Mains. Candidates first have to appear in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) organized by National Testing Agency (NTA).
• Those who qualified the examination have to register for the counselling process conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), MP.
• After registration, candidates have to appear in the counselling process along with all the necessary documents for verification.
• Admission to (SIMS) will be offered on the basis of candidates JEE Main score and preference made by them during the counselling process.
