Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants seeking admission to the Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute:-
Eligibility for Government Quota Admissions
- Eligibility for admission to the B Tech, program, admission policy and procedure shall be decided from time to time by following the guidelines issued by the Government of Kerala and the Government of India and another statutory body such as AICTE.
- Admission to B Tech shall be based on the guidelines given by the State and Central Governments on the reservation. Candidates for admission to B Tech, the program shall have passed the Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or 12th Standard V.H.S.E., C.B.S.E., I.S.C or any other examination considered equivalent to the above-mentioned ones. Other eligibility criteria for admission is currently prescribed by the Government of Kerala through Government orders which are based on the entrance examination conducted by the Commission for Entrance Examinations, Government of Kerala and the marks in the qualifying examination subject to the relaxations allowed for backward classes and other communities as specified from time to time.
Eligibility for Management Quota Admission:-
Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 45% of marks in Mathematics separately, and 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry put together are eligible for Management seat allotments.
Note
- He/She shall be qualified in Kerala Engineering Entrance Exam 2019 for all seats other than NRI Quota. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/SEBC (Socially and Educationally Backward Classes) with a total annual income not exceeding Rs 6 lakhs, will have a relaxation of 5% marks.
- Reservation of seats shall be as per rules prescribed in the relevant rules by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Kerala.
- 50% of the seats will be allotted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE), Government of Kerala.
Eligibility for NRI Quota Admissions:-
- Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM), put together are eligible for NRI Quota admission. However excellent marks for PCM in the qualifying examination are desirable.
- KEAM (Kerala Entrance Exam ) rank is not mandatory to apply under this quota.
- An NRI can sponsor the children or dependents and he/she will have to give an undertaking in the prescribed format. Also, he should provide copy of the Passport and copy of VISA, all self-attested.

- They provide a good lab facilities for computer science students

The syllabus currently is of 2020 scheme of Kerala technological university.As the college is an autonomous college the portions are reduced when compared to other kerala technological university (KTU) affiliated colleges.

- The campus is really good both infrastucturally and aesthetically.
- The college provides a wide variety of programs ensuring the participation of students in academic as well as in co curicullar activities.
Dislikes
- The college is really strict especially my branch and this creates friction between the staff and students.
- The teachers are sometimes very strict and students often feel like they are still studying in school.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The syllabus is mostly theory based and it it outdated when compared to todays technological sphere.The course although autonomous follows the former KTU syllabus and it high time that it is to be updated.The syllabus stresses more on theorotical knowledge rather than practical knowlege and experience.The curicullum very hardly prepares us for real world applications but there is great scope and time for self learning and it does wonders.The curicullum should be revised to incorporate the newest technologies and more stress on practical knowlege should be promoted.The frequency time and difficulty of exams are quite well.There are two internal exams and one end semester exam per semester.
Likes
- Comparing our college to the other autonomous colleges around... I think we get acceptable amount of freedom. The infrastructure of this college is marvelous. Most of the teachers are friendly and fun to hang out with. Overall its a decent place.
- There are lot of opportunities you get around here for interactions and exposure. We have a nation wide tech fest named sristi. Ive seen students around india come here. And we have pratitya and nakshatra. This year we had first position for yip 6.0
Dislikes
- The whole college is a little congested. We may feel like everything is so close and limited, but infact it is well structured and organised. Even the workshop area and labs may feel a little tiny.
- We have a lot of buses in between 7am - 6pm but availability of autos are very less and buses to particular routes are very less.

The overall syllabus may not be effective for building a carrier, but the college provides us number of workshops and bring us enough internships and online courses which help us understand what is going on in our carrier rn. We are also updated about upcoming trends in the industry. We have 3 exams per sem excluding lab exams. The third one is the final sem exam. The difficulty varies every year and is not predictable

I chose this course since Computer Science is a course very much in demand and will get lots of job opportunities compared to other branches. The faculty ratio is about 1:15.Most of the faculties have a Mtech degree with some having Ph.D. Exams are done on time and exams are with average difficulty.

I choose this course as it sector is the future I have seen which is widely growing worldwide and offers great opportunities for every individual's career. The faculty-student ratio is 1 mentor to 10 students ie 1:10 Every faculty has minimum qualifications who acquired masters in their field and got eligible as an assistant professor Term exams are conducted every 4-5 months and it is quite tough but can score if we listen to our mentors

As computer science engineering has a booming field it was very apt to take the course and the faculties are so helpful and friendly the student-faculty ratio is very good and the teaching methods are excellent

The course was pretty decent. You have to work on a daily basis to be able to understand all the portions covered. Our proffesors provided as with lots of experience by introducing us to many internship courses. Jeyakrushnan sir from the computer science department is the best
Fee Structure And Facilities:
Expensive, per semester, I have to pay an average of 65000 rupees apart from caution deposit and special fee. College does not provide any transparency in the free breakdown However, it is very expensive as the huge amount of fees is heavy enough.
