RVCE M.Tech Power Electronics: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Admission to the college can be obtained through the PGCET exam, or through a separate exam for Management Quota admissions, which may include a small interview. The fee structure consists of a Government fee of 64,000, a development fee of 40,500, and an additional exam fee of 2,600 per semester. Scholarships are available based on admission criteria: GATE qualifiers receive a monthly scholarship of 12,400, while PGCET qualifiers may be eligible for the SSP scholarship, which depends on family category and income.

The college is visited by many reputed companies for recruitment, including Qualcomm, Nokia, Philips, Volvo, and Benz, starting from the 2nd semester. M.Tech students see the highest placement packages ranging from 15 to 25 lakhs, with an average of 6.2 lakhs for specific branches. However, securing M.Tech placements is challenging and requires proactive effort in internships and placements. Undergraduate placements are consistently good, with participation from companies like Qualcomm, Samsung, Texas Instruments, and Mercedes-Benz.

A CGPA above 7.5 significantly boosts placement prospects, with nearly full placement potential, while core companies prefer candidates with a CGPA above 8.5 and strong domain knowledge.
