The faculty at the institution vary in effectiveness, with some excelling in teaching while others are chosen more for their industry experience. In the machine design branch, only two students secured internships through the college placement department. Across all M.Tech mechanical departments, including MMD, PDM, CIM, and Tool, only about 9 or 10 out of 90 students obtained internships via the college.
GATE students at RVCE benefit from a GATE scholarship, but non-GATE students do not receive the TEQIP scholarship, which is typically available at other colleges. Although initially promised, students are informed in their fourth semester that the TEQIP scholarship will not be provided.
