Which college should I prefer, RVCE (CS branch) or lower IIITs like Kota and Vadodara (CS branch)?

Since my sister studied at RVCE, I can give you information about it. Placement: RVCE provides a lot of placement opportunities. If you score decently, you can easily get a double-digit package job in the campus placement. Placement season starts from July till November, where all the good companies with good opportunities come for placement. However, you can expect placement opportunities in your last semester also. These companies offer the lowest packages of 3-4 LPA. Thus, RVCE CSE is definitely good in terms of placements. Academics: The faculties are not of top quality and hence, the academic quality. You will have to practice self-study if you really want to have good knowledge of the subjects. Exam Pattern: You will definitely score more than or equal to 90% if you solve 3-4 previous years semester endpapers. Not commenting anything on lower IIITs since I don’t have much knowledge about it. But, if given a chance to join any RVCE or any lower IIIT like Kota or Vadodara, I would always go for RVCE.

I have a choice between IT (Information Technology) in NIT, Surathkal and CS (computer science) in RVCE, Bangalore. Which one would be a better choice in terms of placements, Brand name etc.??

Between the options, you should choose NIT Surathkal IT. Here are the reasons why. The syllabus difference between IT and CSE is not so much in this institute. The placement process in the institute is exceptional, specifically for the circuit branches, including IT, CSE, ECE, and EEE. However, in the last year, students are recruited by Google and Microsoft. NITK has its own brand name. Maybe it is an NIT, but the students here get a lot of exposure. JEE Mains toppers mainly take admission in this institute every year. Here is a full overview of NIT Surathkal You will have to stay here in the hostel, which provides a good experience for them. During the tenure of the course, you will learn how to take care of yourself. Also, if your hometown is Bangalore, then you can frequently visit home.

During first year I paid 1,24,000 second and third year reduced by 6000. This is overall fee. Tution fee is 60000 everything will be included in this.some of classmates who came through comedk and management have high payment for sc st 60000 management 12 lakh per year and comedk 3 lakh per year.sc st they will provide scholarship.

I am paying around 2.5 lacs fees for my college. It provides eith many labs like chemistry, physics and computer labs helps in developing my skills. I am very happy with my college as it provides great placements and has high rate of success.

Rvce brief review.

1. This year my tution fee is 287000 and hostel fee is 155000, it may increase by 10000 for next year. 2. Tution fee- 287000. Registeration fee-15000 Admission fee- 20000 Lab fee will be included in admission fee and this is for general category through comedk fee. 3. My batchmates are from comedk and kcet, through kcet it cost around 150000 for tution and 155000 for hostel. 4. I don't know much about scholarships.

Pros and cons of RVCE

RVCE has admission through Kcet , Comedk and managment Kcet fees is around 1.5L per year , Comedk fees is approx 2-3L per year and management fees varies between courses 68L for compsc, 50L for data science , Ise , AIML ,cyber security and around 20-30L for other courses . RVCE also has special quota for nris with fees of around 30L.Kcet and Comedk have separate quotas for sc/st ,OBC ,PWD etc. financial aid is given to students .

Best college I ever seen

We have to invest more on our projects itself even we already paid in the beginning of the college

Tuition fee will be increased according to our semester. The complete cost of our education first we payed 96540 and 24000 for the tuition fee and then bus facility fee is 6000 are the compulsary charges and hostel included 66000 per year.
They also provide various scholarships they will help for many students. Even they provide pendrive for sc st category students. The library is so helpful for us. We can borrow books from the library at any time.

About RVCE-What I felt!

Labs and theory classes have no coherence. All the knowledge that you will gain all the four years will be by yourself.

If you are having a cet seat then per year you colllege fees will be Rs. 1 lakh But if comed-k that the fees doubles, per year fees will be Rs. 2 lakh. Fom management fees differ from branch to branch CS 68lakhs ECE 37lakhs CSE(AIML) 50 lakhs ISE 50 lakhs EEE 20 lakhs IEM 16 lakhs ASE 30 lakhs BT 24 lakhs CSE(Cyber Security) 50 lakhs CSE(Data Science) 50 lakhs Mnagement fees is hefty. If you come from a middle class backgroud, then its best to opt for different college if you have low cet or comed-k ranks. Hostel fees is Accomdation charges(90000 Rs.) plus Mess charges(33000 Rs.) per year that is 123000 Rs. If you have an income certificate, then you can avail SSP scholarship. Good number of corporate scholarships are provided after interview for the same.
