- Yes, everything is good there - the functions, events, all types of events are happening here, from tech fests to cultural activities, everything is just awesome.
- The training and placement program was the best and was conducted by Infosys and Corporate Gurukul as well.
- The placement and training are really very good, and that is why the college is renowned everywhere.
Dislikes
- Orissa Engineering College does not provide any loans, but they can adjust the payment mode by offering fee installments and a reduced fee structure for students from backward classes.
- None of these things are good because the faculties provided by the college have a very low level of expertise and knowledge in their subjects.
- Many students have to sleep on an empty stomach because they do not like the meals provided, and despite numerous complaints, no changes have been made

It's a wonderful journey to spent and learn during my academic session in OEC college. Teachers were very helpful and they guided alot to achieve my goal. Even after completion of my course in college they were guiding to choose a right path for my carrier.

The college has a lush green campus with good quotes of famous thinkers painted at many spots. There are 3 canteens in college.

Remarks:
Non teaching staffs will be more cooperative if they should get their salaries on time. Non - teaching staffs make strike for this for which students suffer & miss ther class & transportation.

Admission:
I got admitted through the jee main counciling process, but in our college there is no extra schoolarships for the students who comes through the process.students can also get admitted after getting their diploma degree
