Sometimes when we get language barriers they resolve it.and teachers in lab is so active they help each and every student to get clarity over things.
The college should provide scholarships on basis of student's skills because most of the students come from middle class family and it would be very helpful and motivating for them if college does so.
Placement scenerio of it department is about 80% percent on campus.lots of mass hiring companies visited our college like tcs, cognizant, accenture and lti.so they hire approx 60 students so placement is pretty good.

Dislikes

Fees structure i don't like as it is too high to pay and also very different fees structure is oresent here different from all other colleges
College campus is small and no tennis court no cricket ground no football ground
I am still a student in 1st year, so there is no placement this year, but the placement stats for branches other than cse is poor.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am Choosing civil engineering Because there are many options to get a government job like SSC jee, rrb jee etc. The faculty-student ratio is very good in this college. All the faculty qualified for master's degrees in a good college.

MY NSEC

Likes

The course is very good and also interesting to learn.
Faculty members are very good and helpful.
Infrastructure is good and placement opportunities are good

Dislikes

Some extra subjects are being taught in first year.
Sometimes there are a lot of assignments
Sometimes the exams becomes hard and difficult to score.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for college placements. Many offers are made by big companies such as TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Amazon, etc. The highest package is 22lpa and the average package is 5lpa. More than 80% of students are placed.

The best tier 3 College in West bengal with good placement opportunity and affordable fees structure

Likes

Good faculty members, with amazing seniors
Amazing College life with lots of activities
good job assistance and huge alumni circle to get a good exposure and make connections

Dislikes

Infrastructure, being the first private college of whole West Bengal... its a little bit old
The location is clearly out of town which can be a great problem to communicate
The college doesn't have its own hostel facility

Placement Experience:

NSEC offeres one of the most greatest packages among all the tier 3 colleges in west bengal on campus... even amazon and microsoft has also came in the time of campusing... and there are lots of clubs and teachers to help with skill developemnt . so even for a avg student.. It won't be too hard to get a job on campus.

The placement record of the college is very good.
The college is in Kolkata and not far away from my house.
The teaching faculty is very good and helpful.

The college campus could've been bigger.
The college playground is outside the college campus and often local occupy the college playground.

I'm in the first year so I don't know everything about the campusing process yet. But from what I've heard, students become eligible for placements from 3rd year. The placement record of the college is very good. Companies like Wipro, cognizant, and TCS visit the college. Almost all the students get placed in the non-core branches.

The placement record avg is 600000-700000 LPA. Many companies visited our college and give high packages and jobs. There are so many opportunities to get placement. If you want to get the off-campus placement you are eligible.

1001 things to do at NSEC

Likes

Faculties , how they cooperate with every students
Seniors, they are so much helpful , you will get help from them everytime
Clubs, the are awesome. Competition on different topics take place everyday

Dislikes

Not a big campus to have fun other than studies and friends
College self Hostels facilities are poor
Canteen is not well maintained and not a exact place to chill there

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester the college Faculties will start mentoring each and every students for placement. Many students got there dream jobs in the 3rd year only . Highest package is 48 LPA AND average package is 6-7 LPA Maximum students are hired by TCS , WIPRO COGNIZANT IBM ETC Mostly more than 90% stude6 get the job to be honest.

The placements in our college have become even better this time with the highest package being 32 lakhs in Amazon 4 students got. And 1.5 crores off campus. with an average package of 6.25lpa. In CSE almost 92 % of students placed and in IT 76%.
