Mjcet college review

Likes

The faculty here is really experienced and thorough in their subjects.They are all pretty friendly and charming.
The schedule here is pretty amazing.It is not hectic 9-5 like other colleges.It changes every sem.
Our college is located in between the city rather than being on the outskirts.This might seem as a disadvantage but not for us.It is peaceful inside and every public transport is accessible.

Dislikes

The things I dislike about my college is that there is that the equipments used in our labs are pretty old

Admission:

I love the environment here and the staff here is surprisingly good.Our college is also one of the most reputed college once upon a time.I knew that it wouldn't be as good as it was back then but still I believed it wouldn't be bad to study here

The infrastructure of the college is very good . There's grenery all around the college and theres a lot of space available around the campus with the masjid for prayers as well
MJCET is accomodated with well educated professionals with good lab facilities to enhance the practical experience in every domain of Enginneering . From workshops to computer labs it is a good fit for young talent to learn Engineering
They even provide the oppurtunity to let the young talent solve real world problems by organising hackathons ,workshop which eventually helps the students to get the industry exposure and network with the industry experts

Dislikes

Admission:

The are several reasons to choose this college . The very first was this is a muslim minority college which is well suitable for minority people . Despite securing a good rank in eamcet I couldn't make it to top colleges of city . The admisiion process is pretty simple just write the eamcet exam secure a good rank and then apply through conscelling and If u r eligible for the it you will get a message that you got selected in this college . The cutoffs currently are around 45k for CSE students .

The campus is really good with great teachers and everyone is really friendly here
The clubs and the events really help to build meaningful connections
The teachers are actually good they will help you out if you are passionate enough

Dislikes

There are not enough sports events sre anything such
The girls to boys ratio is kinda good here
The curriculum is not well made we have really less time to study

I have applied to CBIT,CMR, OSMANIA UNIVERSITY,MALLA REDDY ,GNIT,GOKURAJU GANGA RAJU , i got rejected because my score in emcet was really low. Admission process for my college is to write entrance examination we have to score minimum 30k-40k emcet rank for EEE course in my college

Information for a student thinking to join mjcet

Likes

I like the infrastructure of the college which includes the canteen , grounds, classes,courts and library as it is maintained clean and looks attractive
I like the faculties way of teaching and not forcing a student to just study and make a student feel worried abt the subject
The curriculum of the college is good as we can improve matks by submitting assignments and doing ghod in internal exams

Dislikes

Our college doesnot have a sports conplex so the students have to bring their own sports kit to play
No coaches are present for the sport i play i.e basketball which i think is the most special sport for a college
As the college is present in a hilly area the paths to use to go to classes or anywhere is little troublesome as it is at high inclination

Mjcet is the top minority college in hyderabad and it has a good infrastructure that grabs a students attention and also the campus placements Other colleges like nawab shah alam khan and lords are not as good as mjcet also said my frnds who study in nawab shah alam and lords so i preffered studying in mj rahter than other colleges I tried for chaitanya bharti institute of engineering and technology but due to covid i could not prepare well and i did not get enough marks The admission process in our college is very simple we just need to bring our documents and the entrance exam result copy and fill yhe form they give, get a cerox of it and get the id of the clg

A moderate learning experience

Likes

professors are experienced and passionate about teaching
there were many extra circular activities some were for fun and some help in building good future
college is located in the middle of city . So it was easy to go to college

Dislikes

placements were not good only 5% of total students got placed
slow process in issuing certificates or organizing events
college canteen was not that good .It needs renovation

Acutually according to my rank in entrance exams there was around 10 colleges in which I can get admission in computer science . amony 10 I choose this college about I heard thet is college provides good placement opportuines and it has a good environment

Best experience faculty and good college environment and the good infrastructure including campus
the faculty is always back which they always show how to learn and how to develop our skills
the social interaction in very good the other students have good in talking in have best interaction

some faculty is very rude show so much attitude and arrogance which is not good
the girls in our college is get respect but the respect boys bot get
they show equality between both boys and girls

The thing that I liked the most about our college is the location of our college.It is located in the centre of Hyderabad city.
The girls to boys ratio in computer science engineering course was 1:3.In Other branches like civil, mechanical the ratio of girls is very low .There may be 2 or 3 girls in the whole class of 120 students
The other thing that I liked the most is the free time which you will get in studying in this college you can develop or do any course in the free time.The college has open door meaning you can enter or exit the college anytime.

Dislikes

The placement in the college is not so good.Only few companies come to the college and the non IT branches do not have any placements.
The professors are not so good their teaching style is also not good.Only few professors are good in teaching their subjects.

Admission:

I chose muffakham Jah college because it was in the centre of the city and because of the fewer rules and regulations we get more free time to explore new things.I also applied for osmania university and JNTUH university because the value we get their is unmatched when compared to other private colleges.I didn't get admission in these colleges because of the lesser rank got in EAMCET entrance test.In Telangana all the state level universities and colleges get their admission based on the rank we get in the EAMCET entrance exam.

Reality of MJCET

Likes

Big Campus, plenty of open space, doesn't feel suffocating.
Has many clubs including IEEE and Google.
Has many events year round, very kind teachers.

Dislikes

Syllabus can be hectic, because it's non autonomous.
Attendance is mandatory 75 percentage otherwise no exam permission
The faculty can be strict at sometimes but not always.

Admission:

I applied to this college because it's a little more relaxed than other colleges, I can easily get permitted to leave the campus if I have to do something important, I didn't see that in many other colleges.

I like the campus a lot and there are a lot of place to enjoy self and it’s so amazing campus so calm and so fresh just like you are in an 5 star hotel

Dislikes

The toilets shall be improved and the benches shall be improved to as they are pretty stinky and well not maintained as per far

Admission:

I choose this college on basis that my life would be great and there a lot of opportunities and you make your self great here feel great here do a lot of things join in sports,clubs,events and etc over all I didn't have any issue in having the admission over here so not a big deal but over all this college is the best college
