Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology was established in 1980 and is located in Hyderabad, Telangana. The college is affiliated to Osmania University, Hyderabad. Muffakham Jah College of Engineering (MJCET) offers the B.E. course at undergraduate level, under 8 specializations and M.E. course at postgraduate level under 5 specializations.

B.E. course is offered under 8 specializations with a total intake of 780.

Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology B.E. Admission 2024

MJCET offers the B.E. course under 8 specializations. The B.E. course has a total intake of 780s.

Candidates who have completed their 10 + 2 studies, having taken up Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and secured 50% minimum marks are eligible to apply for admission into the 1^st year of B.E.

Candidates who have completed their 10^th and polytechnic studies in a relevant field of study are eligible to apply for admission into the 2^nd year of B.E. course through the lateral entry scheme.

Seats to the 1^st year B.E. course will be allotted based on performance in EAMCET and seats to the 2^nd year B.E. course (lateral entry) will be allotted based on performance in the ECET examination.

Key Points for B.E. Admission:

Reserved category (SC and ST) students are required to have obtained minimum 45% in aggregate and 40% in PCM.
To be recognized as local, candidate must have studied for five consecutive years in the state of Telangana from the preceding academic year.
The intake for 2^nd year through lateral entry scheme is 156.
20% of the available seats for lateral entry will be allotted based on management quota.
Candidates seeking admission through management quota are required to contact the college office directly.

Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology M.E. Admission 2024

MJCET offers the M.E. course under 4 specializations namely CAD / CAM, Digital Systems, Structural Engineering, Power Electronic Systems and M.Tech in Computer Science with an intake of 234 seats.

Candidates who have completed their Bachelor studies in relevant field of Engineering and Technology relevant field of study are eligible to apply for the M.E. course. Seats to M.E. course will be allotted based on candidates’ performance in the TS PGECET examination through the TS PGECET counselling process.

The are several reasons to choose this college . The very first was this is a muslim minority college which is well suitable for minority people . Despite securing a good rank in eamcet I couldn't make it to top colleges of city . The admisiion process is pretty simple just write the eamcet exam secure a good rank and then apply through conscelling and If u r eligible for the it you will get a message that you got selected in this college . The cutoffs currently are around 45k for CSE students .

Mjcet is the top minority college in hyderabad and it has a good infrastructure that grabs a students attention and also the campus placements Other colleges like nawab shah alam khan and lords are not as good as mjcet also said my frnds who study in nawab shah alam and lords so i preffered studying in mj rahter than other colleges I tried for chaitanya bharti institute of engineering and technology but due to covid i could not prepare well and i did not get enough marks The admission process in our college is very simple we just need to bring our documents and the entrance exam result copy and fill yhe form they give, get a cerox of it and get the id of the clg

I chose muffakham Jah college because it was in the centre of the city and because of the fewer rules and regulations we get more free time to explore new things.I also applied for osmania university and JNTUH university because the value we get their is unmatched when compared to other private colleges.I didn't get admission in these colleges because of the lesser rank got in EAMCET entrance test.In Telangana all the state level universities and colleges get their admission based on the rank we get in the EAMCET entrance exam.
