One should study smartly to clear the vtu exams it was not so difficult with the help of our lecturers
It is a good college for toppers, fee structure is good compared to other engineering colleges small campuses and provides transportation facilities for students' placement training are good well-known lectures.
They are supporting to improve our skills in our institution they give us a chance to showcase our talents through internships requirements of the colleges will be fulfilled by students through internships.

Dislikes

Almost zero campus life and you have to wear uniform which literally shitty colors amd designs
Due to the long distance between the college and the city centre it is hard to reach the college and it is located on the outskirts of the city. Due to which there is Lack of transportation facilities available to reach the location.
Due to Rules and regulations it is almost impossible to enjoy your Campus Life as a student. Situations gets worse if you are not from here. No use of phones and without any place to rest around makes it even worse.

My views on MiT Mysore

Likes

Faculty are very well versed and experienced in the field of teaching and discipline

Dislikes

There is no social interaction and campus life
Almost zero campus life and you have to wear uniform which literally shitty colors and designs
There is no support and encouragement for sports and co circular activities

Placement Experience:

Placements starts for the 7th semester for the students. Placements in this college is pretty bad and not much technical company come for recruiting as compared to other colleges. No Top companies have had their recruitment expect some like TCS, Infosys and also they provide less packages compared to what they give to other colleges for the same role in the companies which is really bad I am currently interning as a data analyst and approaching for a job externally

The CSE course is a very demanding course, in our college it is the most preferred course by students, as it has a very good placement when compared to other branches, it is also the branch where students of our college has got the high packages.

My college experience in MIT

Likes

The college feels safe compared to other colleges due to strict faculties and security.
The teachers are well and expert in their subjects,so every subject they teach goes directly to our mind
Fees is pocket friendly compared to other colleges in Mysore.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is quite small and less areas to explore
There's less government bus facility so need to wait until the college bus leaves.
Too strict watchman and security guard they won't leave us outside without permission letter from principal or HOD.

Placement Experience:

There was very good means 100% placements for 2018-2022 batch students but gradually the opportunities decreased due to recision and covid situations but i have been placed in IBM through placements itself. Only few of them have been placed from my department that is electronic and communication engineering. It depends on the students also because the placement opportunity will be provided and students have to grab those opportunities.

The overall academic experience is great in terms of quality of education provided by the facilities, Every individual can grasp the concept easily.
The campus is well maintained by the staff, toilets are neat and tidy. With drinking water supply 24/7.
There is no shortage of classrooms and laboratory experiences for students. Laboratory with various heavily New equipments are used to conduct experiments.

Dislikes

Due to the long distance between the college and the city centre it is hard to reach the college and it is located on the outskirts of the city. Due to which there is Lack of transportation facilities available to reach the location.
The placements are good for the current Trends of market. You can expect a lot of opportunities for Computer science students & ISE department where as civil engineering students and mechanical students get the least opportunities.
Due to Rules and regulations it is almost impossible to enjoy your Campus Life as a student. Situations gets worse if you are not from here. No use of phones and without any place to rest around makes it even worse.

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible for campus placements from various fields. You can participate in an IT company even through you are a civil engineering student. However it is highly recommended for you to carry over your required stream for placements

They will guide for all circumstances for students like exam sports
The careers hub is good in college level.

Dislikes

Very sad in attendance. They will strictly follow
The hostel facility is little things to improvement
The morning time of first class should start from 9

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester. You will be placed in some service-based company, if you have a better college as an option then go for it. The highest package is 11LPA. Many companies like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, and Accenture, by us, come to college. If u are in CSE then you can get placed with some or the other company. Around 90 percent of students get placed. The average package is 4LPA. I am a gate aspirant hoping for IIT

Placement Experience:

In the final year, the students are eligible for the placement, At the end of 2nd sem we will be having training for the placement. In 3rd semester the placement starts, almost all the company ask for 60% and 50% rarely 70% overall. The highest package was 7lakhs per annum and the average package was 3lakhs.

Placement Experience:

The placement starts from the 6th sem and goes till the 8th sem last year almost 150 companies visited our college for placements and the highest package is 10 LPA whereas the average is 5 LPA and I don't have the plan to continue my study further.
