MIT Mysore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placements starts for the 7th semester for the students. Placements in this college is pretty bad and not much technical company come for recruiting as compared to other colleges. No Top companies have had their recruitment expect some like TCS, Infosys and also they provide less packages compared to what they give to other colleges for the same role in the companies which is really bad I am currently interning as a data analyst and approaching for a job externally

The CSE course is a very demanding course, in our college it is the most preferred course by students, as it has a very good placement when compared to other branches, it is also the branch where students of our college has got the high packages.

There was very good means 100% placements for 2018-2022 batch students but gradually the opportunities decreased due to recision and covid situations but i have been placed in IBM through placements itself. Only few of them have been placed from my department that is electronic and communication engineering. It depends on the students also because the placement opportunity will be provided and students have to grab those opportunities.

Final year students are eligible for campus placements from various fields. You can participate in an IT company even through you are a civil engineering student. However it is highly recommended for you to carry over your required stream for placements

The faculty members of the college are very strong in subjects and all are Ph.D. holds. they make students easily understand and guide them in each word for subjects. The time of the examination are time.

Students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester. You will be placed in some service-based company, if you have a better college as an option then go for it. The highest package is 11LPA. Many companies like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, and Accenture, by us, come to college. If u are in CSE then you can get placed with some or the other company. Around 90 percent of students get placed. The average package is 4LPA. I am a gate aspirant hoping for IIT

In the final year, the students are eligible for the placement, At the end of 2nd sem we will be having training for the placement. In 3rd semester the placement starts, almost all the company ask for 60% and 50% rarely 70% overall. The highest package was 7lakhs per annum and the average package was 3lakhs.

The reason to choose this course is it has great demand at the current time and also good growth in the future. Coming to our faculty members teach us very well. They complete the portions on time and are helpful in clarifying doubts. One should study smartly to clear the vtu exams it was not so difficult with the help of our lecturers

The placement starts from the 6th sem and goes till the 8th sem last year almost 150 companies visited our college for placements and the highest package is 10 LPA whereas the average is 5 LPA and I don't have the plan to continue my study further.

My timely exams were good in 1st sem and 2nd sem then I came to my very own branch of information science and technology. It was very difficult to understand the concept. But ultimately I did it and it was very difficult to pass the term exam.
