Lucknow Model Institute of Technology and Management offers admission to B.Tech. programs on the basis of performance in JEE Advanced, national level entrance exam conducted collectively by the IITs. Alternatively, candidates from the state of Uttar Pradesh can apply on the basis of performance in the state level examination known as UPSEE. Candidates must have a pass at the 10+2 level from the science stream to be eligible to apply.

JEE Main is a 3-hour paper which consists of 90 questions covering all relevant subject matter to the engineering field.

• Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are given equal weightage.
• The questions are objective type.
• Four marks are given for every correct response, and 1/4^th is deducted for incorrect responses.

UPSEE consists of a number of different papers from which the candidate must choose the relevant option.

• The questions are objective type.
• Each correct answer is worth four marks. No negative marking is issued.

Candidates seeking admission to the B.Tech program may do so by applying online through the official website for the relevant entrance examination (JEE/ UPSEE)

• Reservation is in accordance with the regulations of the state government.
