A candidate seeking admission to M.Tech Courses should have passed B.E./B.Tech or equivalent examination approved by the AICTE in appropriate branch with at least 55% marks in the aggregate.

Admission based on Entrance Exam GATE.

Admission in M.Tech courses of this institution is done on the basis valid GATE Score card,
WBUT PGET exam shall be conducted in the month of July. The exam which is also known as the West Bengal University of Technology Post Graduate Entrance Test. The exam is conducted to select the candidates for the M.Tech. courses in the colleges of West Bengal.
On the basis of the result, the counselling shall be conducted and the seats will be allotted to the candidates.
