Ques. What is the difference between B.Sc MLS (Regular) and B.Sc MLS (Lateral Entry) at GGI?
Ans. The regular B.Sc MLS is a 3-year program (6 semesters) starting from 1st year after 10+2, while the Lateral Entry program is a 2-year program (4 semesters) starting directly from 2nd year for diploma holders in Medical Lab Technology. The lateral entry route saves one year and is ideal for students who already hold a diploma in the allied health sciences field.
Ques. Which diploma qualifications are eligible for B.Sc MLS Lateral Entry at GGI?
Ans. Diploma holders in Medical Lab Technology, Pharmacy, or equivalent allied health sciences programs from recognised polytechnics or boards are eligible. A minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying diploma is required. Students with a 2-year Diploma in Pharmacy/Medical Lab Technology are also eligible.
