To be eligible for UG courses (like B.Tech), candidates need 50% in 10+2 with relevant subjects (PCM/PCB). The selection process for B.Tech is primarily based on JEE Main scores, while MBA/M.Tech admissions rely on CMAT/GATE or merit. A non-refundable application/counseling fee of ₹2,000 is required for registration.

The university has notified that admissions will be conducted for its Main Campus in Kapurthala and constituent campuses, including Amritsar, Hoshiarpur, Mohali-I, and Mohali-II.
