Which one is better Heritage Institute of Technology or Government College of Engineering and Leather Technology for CSE?

Government College of Engineering and Leather Technology (GCELT) is cheaper than Heritage Institute of Technology because it is a government institute. Heritage Institute of Technology has better infrastructure, better labs, and everything else. GCELT has slightly lower levels of infrastructure but the teaching methodology and the quality of lectures delivered by the professors are almost similar at both the institutes. What makes GCELT apart from Heritage Institute of Technology is its freedom which you can utilize in your spare time on activities you enjoy. It does not have any facility to give you a club like a robotics club. But you can start on your own and there is no restriction on the same. The professors will help you in every way possible. You can succeed at either of the institutes if you work hard. If you have financial constraints, join GCELT. If you want good infrastructure join the Heritage Institute of Technology.

A proper review with true facts related to the college

Government College of Engineering and Leather Technology, affiliated by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology is situated in LB Block-11 Salt lake Sector-3 Kolkata 700105. The college provide great facilties for students like we have a well maintained computer lab for students. We also have many clubs in our college such as robotics clubs etc. It also provide great opportunities for job interships foe students currently opting courses. It also has a big playground for students who wants to play and show their skills in the sports sector. We also have a boys hostel which is well maintained for the students where many events takes place for the students living there. We also jave Wifi facilty in the hostel. The faculty at the college is great and helps us in studying and apart from studies they also helps us in each and every aspects of the students life. We also have a big library with more than 10000 books where students can enhance their skills and study peacefully.

The truth about government colleges in West Bengal

There is very little job opportunity and on campus placement here. The placement cell is not active and most of the graduates move towards higher studies for MTech and MBA. One has to grind on his own and target companies via Offcampus opportunities.

In GCELT, in CSE, fees per semester is 6000 And in IT, fees per semester is 12000. Those who are eligible for scholarship, can get scholarship easily. Job scenario is good. Last year 42% students were placed.

Reviewing my Alma Mater - GCELT

The fees of my course were very affordable. Only 6k per semester. I didn't avail any scholarships or financial aid. The placement was good with the highest on-campus offer being 7 lpa and median offer being 5 lpa. We have multiple MNCs visiting us regularly. Very good return on investment.

In This College We All are GCLETIAN

As the college is a government college the expenses are very low. The college gives many types of state and Central Government scholarship and nongovernment scholarship like SVMCM, NSP Scholarship, etc. The Hostel charges are also very low.
