- Among one of the biggest campuses in DU with a total area of around 13 acres.
- T&P Cell of Gargi is the best as not just placements but they help us in providing intenrships too.
Dislikes
- The crowd as we don't have students from all states of the India which top colleges like SRCC or the Hansraj has.
Placement Experience:
T&P cell invites us for the placements mostly in the last semester but some students are invited from the 7th semester itself. Banks have favoured our college and especially our stream as analyst roles are awarded to students of our course. From ICICI, American Express to Federal Bank, we have enough job assurity now than ever it was in Gargi college.
Likes
- Gargi one of the oldest college of the Delhi University stil has those 3 blocks which were operational since it's inception are so heart warming to see.
- Most DU colleges aren't clean but ours is arguably the cleanest of them all.
Dislikes
- There's favouritism in many of the societies and therefore it becomes difficult to find a place in societies of our choices.
Placement Experience:
Since our professors are of banking backgrounds they have managed to bring in a lot of companies from the same sector. From domestic banks like the Indusind Bank and the Federal Bank, American Express too have made way to our college and B.Com studnets are their first choice. The placements percentage collectively of last three years stande at 40-50%.

- Teaching methods is too good. Experienced teachers are guiding us in our career
- Library facility is also super nice. Students can comfortabily study
Dislikes
- Canteen food is not good . Oily, tasteless and low quality products are used
- Water taste is bad. It is needed to be improved
Placement Experience:
Student become eligile for placement from 3rd year that is 5th semster. Top companies that have visited for placement includes deloitte, EY, accenture, Mckinsey, Zomato, Urban and tata power. The college also hold annual internship fair where student got internships. In 2023 ,companies made an offer of total 295 students to be placed. Highest package offered is 20lakhs Per annum. And average pakage is 4 lakh per annum. The roles included the position such as HR, Data analyst, researcher, sales, marketing and consulting

After 3rd or 4th year they become eligible for placement..many companies like amazon micrsoft ....they come to provide placements...my plan is to pursue msc chemistry honours after bsc chemistry honours...i want to become professor in future

- The College Cafeteria is affordable.If someone who is in need to spend often in canteen can get good food at a reasonable rate
- The college teaching staff is quite impressive specially the teachers of chemistry department are really good. Lectures are interesting and understandable what is taught by teacher.
Dislikes
- The water facility in college is not good. It's seen quite often that the water cooler is not working during summers especially.
- It does not have a college hostel. I think it should have a hostel facility because the private hostel or Pg are quite expensive near college.
Placement Experience:
The palcement begins from the final year , semester 6 ( upto my knowledge ) for CBCS pattern. And For the NEP pattern no such placement criteria selection details are given. The average package of college is 5.35LPA and Highest package is 21LPA for 2023-2024 session. My future plans is pursuing higher education.

- Our college has very peaceful environment.Our playground is quite big and our auditorium is quite large which hold a lot of people and we also have 2 floors library which is a great place to sit at
- The students are very warn and inviting.Since it is an all girls school we never see each other as competion girls supports girls here tje women of our college are impressive and outstanding, we all have each other's back.
Dislikes
- The cafeteria food even though quite affordable the options are very limited. This is the area which needs to be improved
- The internet network in our college is horrible , there are lot of jammers throughout the college due to which we can not use internet and it can be quite frustrating as we are not able to.receive calls and texts.
Placement Experience:
The students start getting placement in 3rd year of college.There have quite lot of companies vising for campus placement in gargi like DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Deloitte, EY, Wipro, KPMG, PwC, Willi Tower, Watson, and INshorts. etc. The highest package offered at Gargi College, University of Delhi in the 2023–2024 session was INR 21.05 LPA. The average salary package was INR 5.35 LPA. Our commerce department has highest placemts which is around 60% followed by arts which 19.4% . After graduation I will complete my ca and the pursue MBA.

- faculty is great, teachers do teach well and the eco department is relatively young
- academics focused college, might differ with courses but the overall vibe is very academics oriented
Dislikes
- very poor infrastructure, hallways are PACKED
- class size too big for small college you have your way to the front seat to understand

from second year onwards students become eligible for internships and are only places 3rd year onwards deloitte, de and shaw highest 22 lpa and profiles include hr, consulting and marketing information not made public for 2024 i plan on going for a post graduation degree.

Dislikes
- The thing I dislike are not more but some but placement for topper are easy to get but under confident students or below average students are not promoted or motivated to go for placement
- Another thing is there is no metro line near my college so it’s little tough for us to reach college
Placement Experience:
•Okay from 3rd year a student is eligible for placement in my course •some of the top companies were Deloitte, zee media, Accenture ,Amazon ,wipro,itc,etc •And the highest package offered till now are 21lpa, and median 4lpa, and average 5lpa. •see the top students got the best offers who were topper like who got 90 percent or above they got the prestigious company and average student got the average offer if you hustle more and be confident and have communication skill and have knowledge or little competent and academic skill you could definitely get a good company irrespective of if you are topper or average or below average • I have sat for placement and I am an average student so I got average offer but I am very grateful for my college for all the opportunities that my college has given to make me stand up on my feet and for my future endeavours

Placement Experience:
The placement session has been decent. There are some good companies that provide 8-9 lpa. Most range between 4-6 lpa and a very few are 10 lpa+ companies. If not placed you can always go for off campus or can try pursuing some professional degree or take some government exams or do your masters and PHD
Likes
- The professors are great at teaching and put plenty effort into taking their teachers out of the box.
- The placement is good. There are internship offers across the season. They also hold internship and placement fairs for students.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is very bad, the washrooms especially are not clean. There is very less space, students often don’t get rooms.
- The campus life and quality of social experiences is not great. G
Placement Experience:
Campus placements exist but very few come for the Applied Psychology course. Campus placements are offered mostly for commerce fields. Companies like Deloitte also come. Highest package was 25 LPA. Average is usually 2-3LPA. Not a lot of students get placed. I am now working from a college placement offer, i did not sit for placements but they share opportunities on the group even after graduation.
