The real college experience

Placement Experience:

Gargi, like most other delhi colleges, has a standard placement cell. Students become eligible for placements from the 5th semester onwards, but most requirements happen during the final year. The companies that visit are primarily ed tech based ventures or marketing, HR firms and sales firms. A few that have collaborated over the year has been EY, Decathlon, Urban Company, Deloitte and so on. in terms of packages, the highest that had been around 15-17lpa, and the average package is 4-5lpa. About 20-30% of the batch gets placed during placement interviews while many try to pursue other opportunities or off-campus venues.

Great place to earn knowledge!!

Many banks and accounting firms and Big 4 which have become potent when it comes to placements are the ones who offers placements. The best part is that post Covid, the inflation has gone up and so are the basic salary norms too as all studenys are offered in the range of 5-7 lakhs annually.

Placements and internships cell are such that both are taken care of and also a proper training and all is provided as well.

Placements cell has been praised by me beforehand. They manage our CVs and our training program too. So, shouldn't be questioning them on that front at all. Research Equity analyst, economic guider and all are some of the roles that are offered to us. Let, me also clear than B.Com where placements are slim, we get placements worth 5-7 lakhs.

B.Com has the second placements at our college after B.Com Hons and must say, all the companies needs economics reforms and this is where we can serve. Placement is very good in gargi college. The members of placement cell work very hard and all top companies come on board for placement. Companies like KPMG , deloitte etc comes every year and for every stream. Highest package is around 24 lakhs i guess and average is 5 lakh per year.
