The college with the best view from the classroom windows

Likes

Area if very good, campus is good considering it is in mumbai where space is an issue. Good girls to boys ratio. 40/60
Fests though small are good and give you a chance to get out of your shell. Good way to engage with classmates and seniors and improve communication and leadership skills.
with the autonomous curriculum now introduyced, there are new subjects like law for engineers, community engagement programs which are scoring and help increase cgpa and provide a break from regular academia.

Dislikes

Work life balance is poor. almost 13 subjects in one semester with multiple unit exams being held in one day.
difficult to maintain good cgpa with autonomous system but easy to pass.
placements are poor, faculty not upto mark with grudges being held with students

Admission:

1. i also applied to KJ Somaiya in vidyavihar and RAIT in navi mumbai and VIT vellore. i did not choose these colleges for the following reason: expensive fees and no affiliation with mumbai university, expensive and not well regarded, large batches in each class so issues in placements, 2. i did not get rejections from any college i applied to. 3. admission to my college can be done through CAP rounds or institute rounds. the eligibility depends on your mh-cet score. only mh-cet is accpeted and jee. but only mh-cet is given importance. there is also a 51% quota for chrisitian minority students

Cllg is good in terms of syllabus and is very strict in terms of discipline.... They hv very good faculties for every subject.
The faculties here actually teach very well and u don't hv to go to external tutions... Many ppl get 10 cgpa just by studying from cllg faculties
Campus is excellent and is also good for hostel students... Every sports ground is there here as per the international standards... Also agnel's sports team are very popular over entire mumbai for always winning at almost every district events

Dislikes

Cllg is a bit strict and can be hectic for ppl staying far away and doing up down everyday
Everyday u hv to attend assembly of 15 mins even after we r not kids anymore

Admission:

I was getting VJTI Mech and Civil but i wanted CSE or IT branch. I also got IT in DJ Sangvi and SPIT cllg but as i stay in Mulund-Thane area it is very far from me and travelling alone took 4 hrs of the day. After all these odds this cllg was best for me as it takes only 1.5 hrs of daily travel for me. Time is money u will realize this during ur engg. Cllg only accepts CET and JEE MAINS scores. If u want to get a CS branch in this cllg ur CET score must be around 96.8%ile or around 7000 rank in cet and in JEE MAINS ur percentile must be above 94%ile or 95%ile

The college is highly competitive all the people are to cooperative even the seniors guide you well
The ratio of boys and girls are which help to cater all the knowledge of people
Best in terms of technologies as there various completion with various council

Dislikes

A bit Management issue as there is first time autonomous curriculum

Admission:

I love this college be of it's prime location in Mumbai Bandra that to near bandstand is great location and a great college in tier ranking in Mumbai compare to other college the people there are of different communities get to learn a lot.

Location is amazing , it’s in bandra everything is connected, also not to mention it’s sea facing so yall can see sealink as well,

Dislikes

Canteen food is really bad , for out station students it is very disappointing & not at all edible at least for vegetarian people we don’t have any options neither in college nor outside

Admission:

Admission is offered by Centralised process , and 20% by institute level quota, it's a Christian minority college, eligibility is standard eligibility rule of hon'ble supreme court for engineering admissions & obtained a non zero score in common entrance (MHT-CET / JEE MAIN),

I Liked The College Faculty, They Are Helpful, Supportive, And Ready To Help Any Time
The Internships Opportunity in are college are endless, irrespective of the branch, every sem end we get tons of Internship opportunity from different domain

Dislikes

The Canteen Food, Its Very Unhealthy Due to excessive Oil in cooking and overpriced items
The Event Location are not that great but its still enjoyable

A complete review of the father conceicoa Rodrigues college of engineering

Likes

The quality of crowd in college is really good, everybody is upto something and it's so much you can learn from your peers in this college
There is a wide range of technical and non technical clubs in college in which you can take part to learn different skills
The labs are well equipped making sure you get hands on experience on the things you learn

Dislikes

Infrastructure is getting old, The classrooms are not air conditioned. And the hallway leading to stairs are really dull
The college is located in Bandstand, even though the view is great but reaching Bandstand from station itself is a big struggle every day.
The canteen of college is really bad, the rates are reasonable but the taste is definitely not

Admission:

You can get in fr crce either through jee or mht-cet. But you need to have Maharashtra state domicile if you are looking forward to take admission via mht cet. As the college is Christian minority college 51% of seats are reserved for Christian students. The cutoff vary with branch. For Computer engineering program the cutoff in 2023 was 96 percentile in cet. It's easier to get in through mht cet as cet is easier compare to jee.

The college location is the best, considering connectivity of the college.
The fests organized by the college are very nice. Also several hackathons also take place.

Dislikes

The attitude of the certain professors thinking that they are the law of the college.
The college could have better laboratories.

Admission:

The MHT-CET cut-off for computer department was 97 percentile. The institute round forms are available on the college website, application fee for the same is around 1500 INR. There are certain reservation benefits, but I cannot avail any so I don't have any information regarding the same. Overall the admission process is genuinely nice.

I am a Direct Second-year student, and the eligibility of the course is either you should score above 90.00 percent in a diploma or you should have 85.00 and above if you come under a religious Minority. Getting this in college is difficult but if you have a good percentage you can easily crack this opportunity.

Being a lateral entry student, only the final year diploma marks are considered, and no other entrance exams. The admission process is smooth but is quite slow.
