Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from an AICTE-approved institution. Eligible disciplines: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

A valid GATE 2026 score in the relevant paper is required for GATE-quota seats and for MHRD scholarship eligibility. Non-GATE candidates may apply through WBJEEB PGET 2026, conducted by WBJEEB.

Candidates in the final year of their qualifying degree may apply provisionally, subject to completion of the degree before the SURTECH reporting date.

Admission Process

A valid GATE 2026 score (exam: Feb 7, Feb 08, Feb 14 and Feb 15, 2026, result: March 2026 (Tentative)) is the primary requirement for M.Tech admission at SURTECH Kolkata. Alternatively, apply through WBJEEB PGET 2026.
