Dr. Sri Sri Sri Shivakumar Mahaswamy College of Engineering Nelamagala Faculty

The faculty at the college consists of around 100 members for approximately 500 to 600 students, resulting in a student-faculty ratio of 15:1. All faculty members hold M.Tech degrees, while Heads of Departments possess Ph.D. qualifications. They encourage project work and use various teaching aids, including projector screens, to enhance learning. The evaluation system includes three internal assessments per semester, each worth 20 marks, which contribute to a 100-mark semester exam. Although there is room for improvement in some areas, the overall standard of teaching is considered good, with faculty being approachable and helpful in clearing doubts, providing lecture notes, and conducting weekly tests.
