Ans. The process for admission into B. Tech is primarily merit-based on an exam called either JEE Main or Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET). Since B.Tech is a degree that requires core subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics completed at the 10+2 level, the candidates must have appeared for any of the entrance exams. Just after getting good marks in the entrance exam, if the candidate is eligible for admission, he/she will be allotted a seat at the end of the counseling process.

Ans. The B.Tech admission process starts by making an online application via the College/Counseling Portal. The candidates will enter their respective entrance exam scores (JEE Main, KCET, etc.) if applicable. The allotment of seats during each counseling round is based on a valid score first, and no second scores are taken into account. All candidates would be admitted as long as they had the appropriate documentation to verify and later pay the fees for admission. The whole admission process is simple in typical university standards, and by the relevant university and/or government bodies.

Ans. Candidates trying for the B.Tech programs must have completed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and one of the optional subjects must be Chemistry, Biology, or Computer Science. A minimum mark of 45-50% is necessary, and passing the entrance exams (such as JEE Main or KCET).

Ans. For MBA programs, candidates must possess a degree from a recognised university with a minimum qualifying percentage (typically 50%). Admission is based on qualifying performance in management entrance exams, such as CAT, CMAT, MAT, or Karnataka PGCET, typically in a qualifying percentage. Candidates receiving a qualifying score may be shortlisted for further rounds depending on the admission process chosen by the college or university (e.g., a group discussion or personal interview).
