Canara Engineering College Mangalore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

we have a campus but we do not have a campus placement as eligibility but ok comes to college some companies come but some give good campuses like Sascome, ARL,Wipro etc they give good campus (okok campus).

From the 7th sem, I was able to attend the placements. There were many companies that attended my college. Almost 90 to 95 percent of students got placed in 1 or two companies. The college helped a lot in preparing the students for placements.

Placement is a thing which has 50-50 efforts from both ends. The student needs to be well up to date for the interviews and the college also has to bring various companies for the students. Here college brings around 50+ companies in and around the country with respect to the course and their requirements. Highest salary package was 20lpa and average salary comes to around 5lpa.. 85%* students get placed on campus..

College provides a vast placements. An average of 3.5 lakh package is availed by most of students. Highest of 10 lakh package is provided to few students every year. Top MNCs like wipro,Tcs, infosys and other companies attend our college every year.

I wanted to become a software engineer so I wanted to do this course. by doing this I can become a software engineer. faculties are good and they have the best teaching qualities student strength in class is good.

From 6 sem students are being placed from out cllg with Avr pack of 5lpa,skin technology, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, TCS, The highest is 12 LPA I guess and 5lpa is an average 95per student placed depending on the situation

Placement percentage of our college Information science branch from last 2-3 years has been 98%. In 2020 during COVID time they achieve cent per cent placement, all my seniors are attending placement drives regularly.

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th sem towards. Various companies are visited namely Infosys, VMware, Juego Studio, SLK, Cognizant, TCS, IOPEX, Robosoft, Tech Mahindra, Jaro Education, Automotive Axels, etc., This year, placements weren't much affected in spite of the Covid-19 Situation. This year, the highest package offered was 10 lakhs and the least was 2 lakhs. Almost 90% of students for sure are placed every year here. I am placed and soon going to join a company.

The very less percent of students placed to core & Software related company in our branch. the highest salary offered, I think 12.5 lakh. Top companies are ABC, Infosys, Amazon, Flipkart etc. The top role is Assist. Engineer. The lowest package is 1.2 lakh. All students are doing internships Above 85% of the students from our course got placed, but in reality, it is not that much. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, TCS, Robosoft and Mphasis visit our college for placements. BPO companies like 24x7, etc., also visit our college for placements. Core electrical companies do not visit our campus for placements. The internship has been a subject in our academics, and everyone must do an internship.

It's near to my house about nearly 10 kilometers so I used to go by bus from home and also it's very good faculties are also bit good and that's the reason I chosen that college and it has a very good playground also a vast library
