- Snakes are lot. Remote area. Hostel facility is not gud. Fees are very high. Mess and canteen are unhygienic. Grounds are filled will grass.

I applied for sahyadri. I didn't like the college and I was not selected also. Information science was my choice but dont wanted to join that college due to some personal reasons. CET Jee are main exams.

- As the college location is not good still it’s a possitive because the place over here are less distracting and could help in focusing more peaceful on studies
- Welll disciplined college , no ragging, more fun activities.
- Friendly environment , good faculties, good friends
Dislikes
- The effectiveness of teaching is not up to the mark.Here the teachers just focus on the syllabus to complete not making an effort to make the topics interesting and catch the students attention towards the topic
- While coming to the placements or any activities more than the encouragement and making students how to face the interviews effectively they most probably pressurise and demotivate students by comparing with the previous statics of their placements
- Food it’s a main problem here no good food no well maintained canteen not affordable prices too

Being an Neet aspirant I failed to get a seat in the medical after taking a year drop and the next option that left for me was engineering.soo bcz of Neet my cet didn't went good and didn't get good ranking. Apart from this college the currently i am pursuing u have applied for 3 other colleges one is Sahyadri, st.joseph,and mite.due to ranking difference I couldn't get seat in those colleges. Those three college was the most preferred to me and Canara was an extra option for me but unfortunately I got seat here in all the three rounds that made me feel so disappointing. Why I think the rest 3 colleges are better then Canara is because of the location the college located and the locality and compared to Canara the other three colleges had good placements and the students that come to those three colleges have a good mindset and would have helped me to improvise myself but here in this college we will find 60-70% of gsb students and students from villages who r rather worried about the future developing changes in the world or knowledge on the technical thing or the technology they r just focused on clearing the subject of the exams that's it .

- Canteen food served was average with not so suitable prices
- The campus was very far away from the actual city

I chose to join this college because of the suggestions from lot of people. And also when I visited I liked how peaceful it was and also greenary everywhere. The admission process consists of panel where you have to visit a d fill the form and head to front office for payments. Everyone is eligible, that's not the problem.

Becouse this college system was very good and college all teachers wast good....students also good and college fees and sylabus and tution hostel canteen .and cleaning also very nice ... Exam preparation college activity

- The college is pretty good to be honest. The faculties are really friendly. The average age gap is also pretty less. So I believe students and lectiurers can connect very well. They will guide you to the right direction.
- The faculties provide sound knowledge on the subject they are teaching, and if your main goal is to study well and get good marks, this is the college for you to opt
- Placement are pretty good, considering the fact that it is a tier 3 college.
Dislikes
- The campus lacks a color theme, and is poorly structured.
- It is in a literal forest, so away from the city which makes it difficult for students to travel back and forth.
- There is less bus facility. There is barely 1 bus for every 2-3 hours. Auto charge is too expensive otherwise.
Admission:
I didn't choose this college. The CET examination chose me and put me to this college, which is according to the ranks obtained by me writing the CET examination. Keep a decent rank, and you are eligible to get this college. You can also try admission through management fee payment.

- Canteen food and the surrounding is not clean
- No much opportunity to have fun and as the time table is also packed
- Class room experience even though the class rooms are clean it feels suffocated in summer because of heat

As i had already mentioned I've came through kcet , i had some options with my perfered college where canara was also one, in my first round of seat allotment i had got KVG college of engineering thn at the second round had got canara as for the previous college it is very far from my house and comparing we have a lil low alloted while placement

- The atmosphere present around the college is very good and peaceful .
- Lecturers are very friendly and supports us in studies.
Dislikes
- The location of the college is not good . No much bus available to main busstand to college.
- Lecturers doesn't show much intrest on students who participate in sports.
Admission:
My dream college was sahyadri but unfortunately I couldn't join there as my KCET rank was not good . I got 65k rank so I got my second preference that was Canara. The admission process of the college is comparatively good.

- The faculties are the one of the best in the college. They are ready to help you whenever you want. And most of them have previously worked in multinational corporations and startups.
- The student are very friendly and are always ready to learn something new.
Dislikes
- The college is located in very remote area. You dont have that easy access through buses.
- Theres not enough exposure that we will get. We do get exposure but not in the same manner as other colleges do
Admission:
I had applied for AJIET but opted out cause of fees.
And then i had applied for seating through KCET procedure. And got seated in CEC. The admission process is simple you just need to have all the important documents required for your admission and rest all is smooth.
Most of the students preferred by coming through KCET as it reduced the fees and it is good. There is different cutoffs for different branches and courses.

- Strong Academics: The college has great teachera, good facility and an okk placements. The teachers are very friendly and the labs have good facility and faculties.
- There are many different happening throughout the years and there are clubs and counseling services.
- Teaching staffs are very qualified and have good knowledge about the subject. And have good infrastructure.
Dislikes
- Rigid curriculum. There is lack of flexibility in choosing courses.
- Inefficient administration: slow processing of student request.
Admission:
The Eligibility of the course in not that high. I got in through the management seat. The fees difference of management and CET was not that much at my time. There where exams happening frequently and they difficulty level i would say will be medium.

So, regarding the admission process, it was quite straightforward. I found all the details about eligibility and fees on the college website.while I didn't get good rank in the entrance exam so I went through management seat. By meeting the principal during admission process and clarifying the doubts. Overall the process was okay
