Yeah, we have a great opportunity for campus placements and also intership programs.
Yeah as before the fees is not that much low it is hiked to a extent of greater than 15000. we can get a scholarship from the government if we get a good rank in eamcet.
Many clubs are there but the auditorium is small, fests are nice but are done less in number, classroom facilities are good, sports competitions will be held, extracurricular activities, there are nice clubs to join.

Dislikes

In cvr college of engineering the disliked is about the auditorium is very small
Very bad so you can take pg outside for a cost of 60000 per year and the same costs 90000 in the hostel that is provided by the college.
There are no scholarships for students who have no reservation benefits.

CVR college is good for studying students

Likes

Nice infrastructure and lab facilities and equipment
Encourage in technical events linke hackathons
Encourage in sport's like cricket and basketball etc..

Dislikes

Faculty are very strict in during classes
They are not encourage events like freshers
They are differentiate boys and girls in labs and classes

Reality of CVR College

Likes

Canteen is the center of attraction in our college most probably every person vist cafeteria to enjoy food and to amalgamate each other .our college cafeteria is fusion of modern architecture and vast space which isused efficiently.
Cricket ground is well maintained and night lighting makes college so beautiful

Dislikes

Strict rules are always a headache timings need to be followed very strictly

Course Curriculum Overview:

Types of subjects which are divided in terms of semisters is very efficient. For every 5 to 6 months we have semester end exams. And for every month we have mid exams In third year we have tough subjects which need lot of attention.

Library was good but you were not allowed to late laptops inside
CDC was good with better infrastructure overall
Stone zone was better in over all college

Dislikes

Auditorium is so bad rather than calling it as an auditorium you can call it as a rice mill shown in 90's movie
Canteen,you can have non veg everyday if you consider insects as non veg
Class rooms are not at all good you can sit in the classroom either with dogs or lizards

Placement Experience:

You will see companies that you did not even heard before.But you will get placed in any of the company even with a little effort for basic packages.if you got an off campus offer either you have to pay fine amount or you have to give that credit to the college and you had to sign a big agreement paper before you enter the placements just like the doc related to your property ????. Three passwords is not available for a software company in this case of the day

I liked about anti-ragging culture. Mostly there will be no clashes between seniors and juniors.
We have plenty good technical and non-rechnical clubs
College management is bringing good placements and internships. Also helps students teaching the demand skills through various external platforms.

Dislikes

I dont like the very strict rules. Some how i felt CVR as school for its strictness.
CVR is overrated in terms fees structure they are collecting a huge amount but not giving basic infrastructyre
Inexperciend faculty mostly in labs 70% of the faculty are inexperiend

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year second semester students students are elgible for placements. Mostky service based companies appears for placemnets like wipro,cognizant,TCS,Infosys,accenture Very few product based companies lie amazon,Jp morgan. Highest package is 57.5 LPA 80% placenents. I want to do software engineer job in a good company after my degree.

CVR college of engineering - A college to opt or not

Likes

The things I liked in our college is our faculty, sports and the girls to boys ratio in our class is 4:6 in Computer Science and Data Science.
The Cricket ground is my favourite but you have to get selected in our college cricket team to play in that ground.
The stone zone is good and the quality of food they provide is also nice offers a variety of thickshakes and icecreams.

Dislikes

Auditorium is the worst part of our college.
The cafeteria is the below average thing which provides low quality food.
Our campus is non wi-fi campus and the network is also very low.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year 2nd semester, we become eligible for campus placements and simultaneously placement training is available and you have to pay for placement that was 15,000 at the time of my placements. The companies that attended our college are Amazon, Realpage, TCS, Tech mahindra, Accenture and many more. The number of offers made during the recession were more than 700. The highest package was offered by commvault which was 33 lakhs per annum and the average package is 4.5 lakhs per annum.

I was intrigued to get into the college mainly for the Placements
As of Infrastructure our college has a bigger library
The New gen centre is for new innovations and encourage students to be entrepreneurs

Dislikes

The maintenance of the college ,they barely use college funds
My campus life has been bland because of this college.
The faculty are not that well qualified for all the subjects.

Placement Experience:

Earlier the placements used to be good .Our college allumini even got internship from Microsoft that is the main reason the college was placed at a better position in the years that I was about to join.Currently the scenario is quite opposite!

Likes

Teachers with a around 20 years experience
Startups are encouraged through NewZen and Atal Incubation centres
There is no Uniform ,No need to wear uniform like children

Dislikes

Sports are not encouraged in this college
No Events are conducted like as in other engineering colleges
Attendance is most important thing here.Holidays are very lesss.3days for dussehra and 1 week after every semister

Placement Experience:

Students studying 4th year and 3rd year 2nd semister are eligible for attending Placement.CVR is having a record for giving 100%placement for years The college has been creating records year after year. In spite of a huge recession year with about 75 companies visiting CVR and above 900 placements for the 2023-24 academic year, it is the highest among the peer group of colleges. The average salary increased to a new high. The highest offer is a remarkable Rs. 33,00,000 and more than 100 students got offers with high salaries, a new record. About 225 offers are higher than Rs. 6 Lakhs. With this, CVR becomes one of the leading colleges in the state in terms of the offers with higher salaries for this year. The placement percentage is higher compared to many premier institutions not only in the state but also in the country Campus Recruitment Test(CRT) classes are also conducted by college with minimal fee 3000

The infrastructure of CVR College of Engineering is good. By this, it does not mean the looks but facilities in comparison to other colleges at Hyderabad.

The placements are good. But, your chances of getting placed during the campus recruitment drive are higher in CBIT or Vasavi. At CVR, you can apply for placements only if you choose for higher studies.

CVR is too much to handle. The institute runs behind “professionalism” which is merely scoring higher marks, 100% attendance, submitting formal papers which actually contain plagiarized content; all copied from the internet, wearing formals to the labs, and all such things.

You will have no time for yourself. You will always be occupied by some assignment or some record or to finish something up quickly because of the approaching deadline. But, it will certainly get you something, either mark, or attendance, or fines!

You won’t have time even for an internship or if you choose to dedicate serious time to your game.
