These internships usually run for 68 weeks during the summer vacation, and internships are provided in areas of interest to students in their major fields, including software development, core engineering, management, or pharmacy sciences. In most instances, internships translate into pre-placement offers (PPOs), which increase students' likelihood of employment on a full-time basis upon graduation.
