My opinion on BIT Meerut

Likes

Good environment,Campus is good in size and have natural beauty
Good faculty for some subjects which have in depth knowledge of their subjects.
Fee structure is decent . It make affordable for almost half.

Dislikes

Poor placement because low companies visits.
75 % attendance Mandatory which leads not develop any other skills
Learning based curriculum because of that not get ready for real life work

Placement Experience:

There are Not many companies that visit our Campus. 4th year students are eligible for applying in placement. Companies like TCS , Infosys , Wipro , etc visits our campus but the placement rate is low around 5-6 students get selected from every 10 to 15 group.

An Average college.

Likes

The infrastructure is pretty good includes classrooms and things
Overall experience is pretty good regarding study and all.
The management and faculties available are also very good.

Placement Experience:

About placements ,after 6th semester the student become eligible for sitting in the campus drives held for placements. Every year companies like TCS, wipro, infosys etc visits the campus and hire worthy students. The average package in the college is about 4 to 4.5 lacks following by the highest package of whooping 26 lacks. Average of 70-80 percent of students get placed every year I'm also going for the job after my graduation.

Infrastructure was pretty decent ,wide open corridors with good size buildings ,library was huge 3 story ,volley ball,canteen area is also good
Canteen is also good ,good size building with huge corridors ,
Multiple play grounds of almost every sport i.e of volley ball , football , basket ball

Dislikes

You to wear college uniform , i mean it feels
Gates gets locked and you are allowed to go out with out permission
Feels like school ,teachers are strict ,sometimes college

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester onwards students are eligible for the placements ,However are less opportunites of placement in good organisation , probably around 20-30 students get placed in decent organisation , number of comapany's visting the organisation are around 10 I got placed from the collge also however it was not of good salary , so when out to look for more opportunities

no ragging to be held in my college

Placement Experience:

a placement is good and placement preparation is also good in my college because 6th semester can college start placement for student and minimum salary is 15 thousand per month .and average package is 4 LPA

Placement Experience:

In out batch, over 40 students get placed. Many companies will come for placements, and of course, getting a job is an individual thing. Many of my friends get placed in good companies like TCS, wipro, and CTS. We can easily crack the interview.

Likes

I liked the Infrastructure and the space.
I liked the central library of our college.
I also like the canteen area for refreshment.

Dislikes

I don't liked the parking area which is quite far from our classroom building.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This was my personal choice for choosing the B.Tech(CSE) Course as I have been into computers since my schooling so at then I only decided I'll pursue this studying of computer science. Generally, 1 faculty teaches a class of 60 students and all the faculties are post-graduated and some of them are Ph.D. Holders in their respective fields. In every Semester there used to be two internal exams that judges the students well.

Placement Experience:

There's a department called CADC which works only for our placements. And there were so many opportunities forever last year students. If you're in the last year of any course you're in then you're eligible for sitting on the placements. I think 70-75% is the ratio is the placement ratio. My plan after that is to work in a dynamic IT company.
