Candidates seeking admission to ME courses at AISSMS COE must have a B.Tech or BE degree in the relevant discipline with 50% marks. 45% marks are required for the reserved category. Selection of the candidates will be based on the valid scores of GATE and their performance in MAH CAP Counselling.
AISSMS COE Admission Process 2025
AISSMS COE offers admission to BE and ME courses based on entrance exams such as JEE Main, MHT CET and GATE, respectively, followed by MAH CAP Counselling. AISSMS COE Admission 2025 FAQs
Ques. Does AISSMS COE offer admission under the Management quota?
Ans. AISSMS COE offers admission under the management quota, ie, institute level quota on seats remaining, if any, after the CAP Counselling rounds. Candidates have to apply through the prescribed application form available in the college office as per the schedule notified. The college will conduct its own counselling round for admission to BE and ME courses for vacant seats after the CAP rounds. The admission process will be conducted as per the rules of Government of Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell published every year.
Ques. What is the admission process for PhD at AISSMS COE?
Ans. AISSMS COE offers admission to PhD programs based on the PET entrance exam conducted by SPPU. Candidates with a Master’s or M.Phil degree in the relevant discipline with 55% marks (50% marks for the reserved category) are eligible to apply. The application fee for appearing in PET is INR 1,000 for the General category and INR 750 for the reserved category. Candidates who are exempted from PET have to pay INR 800 for the General category and INR 600 for the reserved category. Based on the PET exam and interview, SPPU will share the merit list of the qualifying students with AISSMS COE for admission to PhD courses.

In addition, students with a JEE Main score of 104327 can also get admission to BE Electronics & Telecom Engineering, BE VLSI Design & Technology, BE Electrical Engineering, BE Chemical Engineering, BE Civil Engineering, and BE Mechanical Engineering. The overall JEE Main cutoff in 2024 for the General category was 106336 - 533747 for the 1st round and 104434 - 313699 for the 3rd round.
