Dyal Singh College Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I am from commerce background I had completed my class 12th with commerce with maths So there are mainly three course a student purse after this which are bcom hons bba and bcom . I have choose bcom hons as it provide specialisation in a particular field like finance marketing human resource management This course is mainly theoretical as it was one of the major drawback but is provide a base for real world corporate working. A student can do ca , Cs, cma along with bcom hons and do higher education like mcom and mba I think this course should have more emphasis on practical aspect along with theoretical aspect This course is of 3 year or 4 year I totally depends on you how many years you want to pursue . The difficulty of exam are moderate

The course is good for those people who are interested in general science and their affection in general science is chemistry. You will get a lot of practical classes of physics and chemistry and you will study all the three subjects ( physics, chemistry, maths ). Although I don't know much about the relevance but it this course will give you more options when you want to choose from which field you want to do your masters .

From last semester students become eligible for placements when companies arrive. Though placements are decent here not too fancy and the average package is also okayish. if you want to join the college on the basis of placements then dyal singh is definitely not for you.

The placements of the college is good as there is a specific society in our college for it. They contact the companies and tell the students regarding jobs and internships. Many companies like TVS, etc. sponsors the events in our college. The highest package of the college last year is 36L p.a. and the average package is 4.9L p.a. Minimum 50 percentage students gets the placement and It will increase in future.

For placements a student needs to be in final year i.e. third year. And placement cell is very active in our college so you need to be updated with the placement programmes going on in the college. Our college offers a decent placement and packages

Placements are in moderate range , students of 5th and 6th semester are eligible for the same. Companies like Genpact, oberoi groups etc. visits the college. With Highest Package - 27 lakh , Average Package - 7-8 lakh. 50-60 student got placed out off 90-100 who applied . My plans are to run my own business

The course is quite knowledgeable.Anyone who has interest in math should do maths honours.Its quite interesting.The faculty is also very good.Almost teachers are phd's and very interactive.They create a peaceful environment to study

Basically from 8th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are so many companies which visited the campus like tata and sons, Deloitte, boat, lenskart etc.There were a total of 100 offers made. More than 100 offers are being made inside the campus.80% of the students are placed on campus. Plans after getting the placements are getting enough promotion and skills in the job.

Dyal Singh College has a placement cell that helps it's student to get placed in reputed companies like Wipro technologies, EY group, Infosys, etc. Placement cell of Dyal Singh College is a collaborative team of college students and college authorities that invites reputed companies from different backgrounds like marketing, finance and accounting. From 6th semester students become eligible to sit in placement drive. Upto 50 companies have visited college campus in past year and approximately 110+ offers were made. In 2023 average placement was 60000 per annum and highest went upto 36 Lpa. You can see placements in only selected course like Bcom Honours, Bcom program and Economics Honours. 50 to 60 percent students get placement easily.

I choose this course as it mainly focuses on computer science without any need to study the other science subjects. There is one teacher for around 60 students. The faculty is highly qualified with most of them holding PhD .Exams are held semester wise and not at all difficult to pass.
