The college does not provide its own scholarships but supports students in applying for educational loans and national scholarships, such as those from the National Scholarship Portal, Ishan Uday, and minority scholarships. Students under certain quotas, including minorities, may receive scholarships ranging from Rs 2,000 to Rs 14,000. A specific Amjad Scholarship, funded by a senior professor, offers Rs 2,000 monthly to students from backward statuses. Despite the lack of direct scholarships from the college, government-provided scholarships and stipends are available, with stipends given to interns and PG students based on attendance, potentially canceled if attendance is below 90%.
Tuition fees are low due to government funding, with MBBS costing approximately Rs 25,000 annually, and PG around Rs 27,000. Hostel and mess fees range from Rs 13,000 to Rs 15,000 per year. Admission costs, including counseling and various fees, total about Rs 4-5 lakhs for the complete 5.5-year course. Students must also pay additional fees for exams, registration, and other services, totaling around Rs 18,000 to Rs 19,000 yearly. Stipends for interns are Rs 37,000 per year.
Students who sign a bond with the state medical council receive a stipend but must work in Assam for five years post-completion.
