SIMSRC M.S Obstetrics & Gynaecology: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Ans. SIMSRC’s MS Obstetrics & Gynaecology is a 3-year postgraduate surgical programme affiliated with RGUHS, Karnataka and approved by NMC. The curriculum covers antenatal and intrapartum care, normal and operative deliveries, caesarean section, gynaecological surgery, laparoscopic gynaecology, high-risk obstetrics, infertility management, and foetal medicine. Residents receive progressive operative exposure under senior faculty supervision, attend structured academic sessions including journal clubs, case presentations, grand rounds, and mortality and morbidity reviews, and are assessed through continuous internal evaluation and RGUHS university examinations. The programme prepares graduates for careers as obstetricians and gynaecologists in hospitals, women’s health centres, academic OBG departments, and maternal-foetal medicine units.
