- UPUMS is a independent University and it has it own merits.adminsitrative can be dealt here only.it has all departments.all departments has all facilities.The infrastructure is new and well maintained and best in uttar pradesh.
- super speciality OPD also started in this year. there is lot of patient load in UPUMS Hospital so there is great opportunity to learning and practicing.administrative block,library,lecture hall and hospital are fully ac.
Dislikes
- 1-UPUMS SAIFAI is in village.it is not being in big city
- 2- U are not hang out at night with friends and in saifai there is not so much to explore.
Course Curriculum Overview:
In this new curriculum they give more priority to the clinical skills over the theotical knowledge.the curriculum prepares u for clinical aspects and improve the clinical skills.in new curriculum u interact more with patients so the communication skills will improve.clinical orientation and integration of subjects will be given importance

- Well being a student of the institute I can probably guide you for it. MERITS : Since UPUMS is an independent university other than KGMU…(only 2 medical universities are there in UP) It has it's own merits. Administrative issues can be dealt here.
- Timely examinations and results It has all departments All faculties in all departments Infrastructurally — it's new and well maintained Hostels are better than other old government colleges College library is well maintained too Campus is beautiful…
Dislikes
- Outing options are limited No PVR and Cinepolis. Though Cine theatres are there. No big Shopping Malls. Nearest city being Etawah and Mainpuri…(not as much developed as Delhi and Lucknow).
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum of MBBS course in UPUMS is well designed. Practical based studies being more important in MBBS is given more weightage and emphasis. So the practicals including dissection is well taught and are repeated several times for perfection. This gives a great experience for further academic pursuits. Number of cadevars available are less according to the strength of class which needs to be improved rest all are well maintained. The frequency and timing of exams are well designed. Regular tests are taken after small intervals to check the knowledge imparted after completion of every unit with makes the student have good knowledge of the subject.
Placement Experience:
Mbbs and nursing degree holder are eligible for placement but all the students got the job. In my field, I will definitely get a job as a lab technician in a government institute the students who get placement is around 60 percent.
Admission:
10+2 from a recognized board is a necessary eligibility for admission to the course. There is an entrance exam for the course called NEET. Scores obtained in the entrance exam will decide admission to the course.

I chose MD for my post graduation degree so that I can get a specialisation. There is an entrance exam NEET-PG which is very difficult to crack. The scores obtained in the entrance exam decide admission.
Admission:
The candidates who want to take admission in our college have to register themselves online through the official website for the desired course. Then, the student are selected on the basis of the NEET UG or NEET PG Examination Scorecard.
Remarks:
My college is overall very good with good infrastructure and good proffessionals. Patient inflow is also good in the premises. Importance is given to conferences, guest lectures, and other co curricular activities.
