Rajagiri College of Social Sciences Kochi Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

We are probably eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester onwards. Since i am in my first year, i did not visit any companies or get any offers. I don't know much about the packages offered by companies. The percentage of students getting placements in 27%. My plan after getting a degree is to get 3 years of work experience to become an ACCA affiliate and to work as a financial manager for a top company.

i am currently on 2nd semester. In my knowledge the campus placements happens during the 5th or 6th semester. There are many companies visited and many no. of offers from different companies. Companies such as HDFC bank, VI, Airtel, Apollo, Colgate, DHL, etc. According to the report, 99 UG and 277 PG students were placed during RCSS placements 2023. The median package offered to the UG students was INR 6,05,000 per annum. According to the reports, 27% students in UG courses secured placements as on June 30, 2024. After getting the degree, I plan to pursue higher education by doing MBA in a renowned good college and along withh that focus on being an ACCA affiliate.

My interest in bcom had helped me in choosing this course.it will surely be a decision I will never regret and worry about this clearly had a good future for me this will help my family to fulfill their dreams

From the tals I had with my seniors and teaching staffs the fact that I have learned is that there is a good placement opportunity for the students who have studied in Rajagiri as mostly more than 70% of the students are being able to attain a job before completion of college from various multinational companies.

The main aspect to choose this course is my interest towards this subject.As i chose commerce in the higher secondary studies i wanted to study more and broaden my knowledge about this subject.Teaching methods should be improved as a student teacher friendly relationship must be maintained.Extra classes for fewer students must be there.Interactive and interesting classes must me maintained by the faculty.Develop soft skills like communication team work and problem solving.Faculty is more strict and arrogant towards students.Exams are conjusted and occurs regularly there is less time provided in between.Sem exams will get over early in our college than others.Real world applications is lesser as the faculty are more concerned with the bookish knowledge.Practical applications for students are less.Should encourage interactive and participative learning by providing conducting group works and collaborative projects for the students.Case based studies should be involved more for studentss

Campus Placement is there at Rajagiri College of Social Sciences. Students are eligible for campus placements as soon as they graduate from the college. Almost 70-80% of the studnets get the campus placement to renowned companies according to sources.

Now there was a rapid change in the course ciricullum as new degree program was launched and the students who is still in the old curiculum is still following the old one and may be difficult in the time of supplementary exams that they have to write.

Placements will be coming to campus by the 3rd semesters. Most of the companies will be coming.TCS, Deloitte, Wipro, UST Global etc will be coming. Average package is 450000. Almost 90% students will be getting placed.

Students after semester 5 are eligible for placements if they have chose the three year degree course. Most popular companies coming for placements are the big 4 audit firms and major finance firms. The average pack for a bcom pass student involves a package of 40,000- 45,000 per month. Around 70% of the students from the commerce department get placement offers from various companies.

The placements are amazing. Almost every student graduates with an employment opportunity. During the 5th semester, the placement procedures start. Top companies like EY, KPMG, and Deloitte come for the placements.
