National Institute of Unani Medicine (NIUM) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of AYUSH, Govt of India, located at Bangalore, Karnataka. It was established in the year 2004. The institution is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science (RGUHS), Karnataka.

National Institute of Unani Medicine offers Postgraduate programs in Doctorate of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) with eight specializations. The total number of intake of seats is 49.

National Institute of Unani Medicine Bangalore Application Process 2024
Candidates can apply for PG and Ph.D. program only through online mode. For further information, candidates can visit the institute’s website or visit logisys.net.in/nium. Candidates must then submit the documents through email/ post/ in person to the authorities at NIUM office.
The document containing the application form should be superscribed “Application for P.G.E.T (Unani)” over it. Candidates seeking admission to the Ph.D. program will have to apply through RGHUS and submit the application form to RGHUS on or before the notified date.
