The college offers a compulsory one-year internship program in its government hospital, following the completion of the MBBS course. Interns are exposed to various clinical departments, gaining practical experience and skills. Internship duties include shifts of 12, 24, and occasionally 36 hours per day. Stipends range from INR 15,000 to INR 35,000 per month, although there are reports of the stipend being considered low given the workload.
The college does not offer direct campus placements but equips students for job opportunities in government and private medical colleges post-internship. Additionally, postgraduate seats are available, requiring students to clear the NEET for admission. The college provides exposure to community health through visits to primary health centers and Anganwadis.
