- I liked the campus, it is very nice and fun tk be at
- I like the availability of restaurants nearby
- I like the dedication of faculty to teach us always

- Hostels are too cramped and not well maintained
- Too many exams, too less time to prepare for most exams
- Not much to do in the area of kozhikode or nearby
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose MBSS out of my own personal interest. However bewarned, it is not for everyone. Its a very hectic life. There are much less faculty available for each student but that is the case in every medical college. All faculty are mbbs, PG and PSC passed. They are very dedicated, if free from other works. Exams are very plenty, almost too much for most students. Passing an exam itself is a hurdle for most people and all subjects are indeed hard to cover

- People are very jealous and competitive, there is no value for friendship

I chose this course because it was my long-lived wish to become a doctor.
Faculty-student ratio is about 1:20
Faculties are MBBS MDs and are specialized doctors. The teaching method is basically PPT-based lectures.
Termly exams were once in 2 months

- Food,mosquito bite at night in hostels,poor water quality
- Large number of students in a single classroom

Three internal exams are there in 3 months gap,followed by university exam

- There is no much political influence in the campus
- Professors are highly cooperative and mentorship really helpful

- Well the academic schedule is quiet hectic and life balance
- Well the college is not near to city, also good hotels
- Well students from other states would find it hard to learn the Malayalam

Of course , a profession like doctor earns you both respect and decent amount of salary. A mentor is provided for about 15 students each in all subjects. Usually three average exams are conducted in a year followed by university exam

It was my ambition since highschool studies.. And for that i worked hard and repeat 3 times to gain admission in the prestigious college in Asia.. Government medical college calicut.
Facultys are comparatively less.. Comsidering the students strength of 250

I was always passionate about medicine. The faculty-student ratio is about 1:30. All Faculty are either post-graduate students or working doctors who cleared PSC. There are 3 term exams conducted roughly every 2 - 3 months finally University exam should be cleared to get promoted to next year. Exams are easy but the syllabus is very vast.

Placement Experience:
After completing House surgency, I have to practice in any hospital to make fund for my PG admission. After getting a PG, I might look for a super speciality. Interested in going abroad for practice. Or else work as a clinical professor in medical college

Its the best medical college in kerala and also leading medical college in india.it has also more cases than any other colleges.it holds the rcord of more pregnency cases yearly than any other colleges in asia.

Remarks:
The teaching methods, the campus and it was my dream to join MBBS. The teachers are very friendly and we can ask any doubt at any time without any hesitation. Other than studies many co curricular activities are also conducting in the college. All festivals are celebrated in enjoyable manner with all departments in the college.
