Ans. The total fee for BTech and BTech lateral entry is INR 14.91 lakh and INR 11.37 lakh, respectively. Here are the semester-wise fees of various courses offered in BTech. Program Duration Semester-wise Fees B.Tech in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Computer Science Engg. Electronics and Electrical Engg, Aerospace Engg, Mechatronics, Mechanical Automobile, Chemical Technology) 4 Years (8 semesters) Rs. 1,75,000/- (B.Tech in Computer Science & Engg, Information Technology, Computer Science and System Engg, Computer Science and Communication Engg. 4 Years (8 semesters) Rs. 1,92,000/- Biotechnology - Dual Degree (B.Tech & M.Tech) 5 Years (10 semesters) Rs. 1,75,000/- Additionally, the overall Registration Fees and Examination fees for every semester is INR 1000. Ans. Whether a particular degree is worth the money you spend depends on a number of factors like your financial background and your future prospects. One of my relatives completed his BTech in CSE in 2012 and got a job that helped him pay back the loan within 2 years. However, this may not be the case for everyone. That being said, consider the following scenarios If you have zero financial constraints and want to live a dreamy college life, then KIIT is certainly the best place for you. If your parents have been saving money for you, save that for your Master's and do your Bachelors in IITs or NITs instead. If you have financial issues and loam is the only option, then leave that option for Master Nevertheless, if you are adamant about joining anyways, go for CS or IT which will provide better placement opportunities than other branches. Ans. KIIT is a good choice for a B.Tech. I have listed below some reasons for my assertion- In KIIT, you will get good scores and it also offers a wide learning scope. KIIT has a beautiful and impressive infrastructure. It has its own aeronautical society, automobile society, robotics society, and more. Most of your teachers will be IITians, NITians, and Ph.D.s.Therefore, you can expect proper guidance. KIIT frequently organizes events, talks, conferences, and activities. The Fest is also really awesome. It is recognized both inside and outside India. Many students from outside India come to KIIT to pursue various degrees. The campus has a 24*7 wifi facility and you will be provided with a good laptop. Basic laptop issues will be taken care of for free unless there is hardware damage. Every department has its own library and a central library. Every classroom has a projector, a minimum of 1 camera, and a minimum of 2 ACs. As a KIITian, within the campus, you can download any research paper from IEEE, Scopus, or Elsevier, without paying a single penny. The placements for B.Tech are quite promising. For 2023, around 90% + placements were achieved. The average CTC was recorded at approx. INR 6.50 LPA, and the highest CTC stood at INR 63 LPA. Capegemini gave offers to 346 students, followed by Bosch Global Software Technologies (P) Ltd. with 242 job offers. Ans. I am a CSE student at KIIT. In my batch, there is a 10-pointer as well as a 7.5-pointer. I myself scored 9.31 in my first sem. I scored 85% in AISSCE but there are also students in my class who scored above 90%. During our KIIT counseling, we were to be allotted our branches based on our ranks in the KIITEE. CSE seats were filled quickly. This is because the first preference of students is CSE, then EE, and then come the other branches like Mechanical, Civil, and others. The best rank holders in KIITEE choose the CSE branch. CSE students at KIIT are not only good at their studies, but they are also very active in extracurriculars. The CSE department hosts great freshers’ parties and CSE has a good share of coordinators in fests and other events. Overall, CSE students in KIIT are hardworking individuals who perform well not only in studies but also in other extracurricular activities.Read more

Ans. If you are considering Amity University, Noida for Engineering, it is recommended that you do not enroll there. According to students who completed their bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering from there, it's a pathetic place to study. They claim that the quality of teaching is very poor, research is nil, and fees are too high. They highly recommend that you join KIIT, Bhubaneswar for a B.Tech, rather than Amity University, Noida. Based on their experience, they believe that anyone who recommends Amity is either lying or trying to get a commission from you. Therefore, it's advised that you look into other options and do your research before making a decision on where to pursue your engineering degree.
