  • The way of teaching through PPTs is what I dislike about my university or any other Canadian college or university as there should be some better approach. null

Canadian study experience is very different from one back in India. So I won't recommend my university much. Because students basically focus here to complete the masters and get a job to stay back here. If you actually want to study then I recommend getting into much more good university, and if your focus is also to stay here then you can get into this.

I’ve added SOP, LOR and CV for admission application with inclusion of all past educational achievements and recommendations from professors. The program that I chose, which is MDS, make it it possible for me to become a Data Scientist So far, I’m enjoying and learning with flow, which gives me the confidence to work in industrial fields

if you had to submit SoP, LoRs, CV - No never submitted one so I have no knowledge on such topic For the scholarship. Also they offered dual credentials such as a diploma and a degree I do very much enjoy the school and the profs for the most part. I never really found any of the courses that appealing to me but I obviously study it either way and get through it. The students are friendly but not very intelligent as I would have expected

Awesome, apart from expensive course I think the course is very well designed program director and all are very supportive and instructors are well versed with awesome campus facilities. so I don't regret taking admission in this university.

I have been doing great in every area- study, mental health, finances, etc. The library support and counselling support services are awesome at the University.

Dislikes:

  • Honestly, there is nothing I like I dislike about the University. A drawback to my transition in the University of Guelph, would be the first snow that was inconvenient while transiting to classes. null
  • The online classes during COVID period prevented much one on one meetings in person and communication was broken many times. null

I was able to be molded into a professional maturity with a sense of food safety leadership. The experience is life long lasting and can be applied to any food industry in the world.

Dislikes:

  • Fees little bit high and they keep increasing it every year. Every semester has different fees, in my opinion it should be same for every sem. If you are doing MENG , it's not that worth compared to MASC. null

UOG is underrated University as it is located in Guelph which is isolated from GTA. My experience was incredible studying at University of Guelph.

I choose this university because I am familiar with it as I had completed my Diploma in Humber College that is opposite to the university building. So, I know the environment and pattern of the study. It is one of the best University in Canada that offers many opportunities for your career.

I applied to 4-5 universities based on the rankings. And I only got an offer letter from the University of Guelph hence I had no other options.

Because of the amount of liberty we have in choosing courses in our program. I can choose to take very diverse courses which may or may not contribute to my major or minor. Also in the engineering sciences, there is an emphasis on design which was really intriguing to me.
