- The campus environment which fosters lots of opportunities for a student to develop into a confident and skilled person.
- Students from all over the world making it a very diverse place to study where learning has no gender or discrimination towards any culture.
- The campus has modern facilities and technology required today.
Dislikes
- Registration Process was not appealing in my case. As the college had limited seats for some courses for which many students had to defer to next semester which wasted a lot of their time and efforts .
- The Admin team takes a lot of time to reply and give updates on application status which is very frustrating.
- So many students didn’t receive any reply or update from the Langara admin team about their application status. It just showed Docs Received for months and after that nothing was updated.
Placement
Companies like TD Bank, BMO and Scotia hire most of the students after PDD in customer support sector and finance.
Location was one of the main reasons for me to choose Langara as it is the heart of Vancouver which is a mix of nature and downtown providing you ample opportunities to explore. The campus is well connected with transit and it is accessible to reach other places faster. It has students across the globe making it a great place to connect and explore new cultures under one roof. Langara college to me was a home away from home. The diverse campus in Langara gave me an amazing opportunity to make friends across the globe. It made me more adaptive, confident than I was before. My overall experience at Langara was a roller coaster ride full of adventure, fun and lots of learning.

It is all about the way of your dedication and passion... you have to apply for volunteering to get Canadian experience. After 3 months of experience as a volunteer, you could easily get into a good company with a good wage. It is not about college at all. Gettin a job here is all about experience and reference.
One of the best colleges in metro Vancouver in terms of infrastructure, curriculum, and faculty. More than 20000 students were enrolled in college back in the day. Experience was good i got lot of lessons experiences memories. College life is good and enjoyed too. The college is good in terms of infrastructure. Events and all. Overall I would say it was good. None, nothing was required to get into college. They didn't ask for any kind of SoP, LoRs, or CV. I got enrolled in 2020. Back in the day process was really smooth to get into langara.

- Main Vancouver location, short classes, plenty of time to work.

Good, they help you with tactics but you need to be out there and find a job yourself. I went to interviews also college had its own openings. But you have to be connected to get into those. I got a job through indeed.
I would rate this as one of the best experience. It was difficult as hell, due to financial problems, home sickness. But after all I became a very confident individual with lots of experiences and friends.

- Because of its high reputation and prestige. Moreover, it also has its root top colleges and universities in abroad.
Placement
Not so good because of recession and full time work. Jobs are difficult to find for every single person studying here.
My overall experience is that here study is not that tough but assignments are a whole different thing. It requires time , focus and may also result in plagiarism if not paid attention.

- I was looking for a 2 year Data Analytics program from a good college as most universities had only 1 year program and very expensive. Langara is a reputable college in Vancouver and has one of the most affordable fees.
- The faculty of the college are very good and helpful. There are lot of volunteer options to take part in the college. For new international students there is a counselling department to help them with home sick and cope up with the new learning style. The fee is quite affordable when compared with other colleges.
Dislikes
- There should have been an in-campus accommodation considering the amount of international students in the college, college provides options for PG but it’s quite expensive and the seats fill out quite fast.
Placement
It totally depends on the year of experience and certification you possess right now there is lot of competition so you need to be the best you grab the opportunity.
To be honest it’s difficult to come to a new country and settle in but still I find the college to be very welcoming to international students they are always there if you need any help personally or academically.

- Even if it is a college, the rules and regulations and atmosphere were equal to a university. Great professors, Great teaching, Lab facilities and variety of courses that a person can dream of and join. Affordable tuition fee for students especially international students.
- My program is Diploma in Arts and Sciences Health Sciences, I chose this course because I’m a great fan of science and I’m very much interested in medical field. So if I graduate in this course in future I can opt any other course related to science like psychology and so on.
Placement
My course is a Health related program so I have no idea about placement and all and also it’s my first semester so I’m just trying to know about everything.
My overall experience in my college was excellent. The professors were awesome and everyone students will become friends with small span of time. There are different buildings for different courses such as science in different building, Business and IT and so on. Overall it was astonishing experience.

- It was the only one that had a data program with 2 year program.
- My college experience was very enriching and rewarding. I learned not only the core concepts of my field, but also the skills and competencies needed to succeed in the job market. The professors were very knowledgeable and helpful.
- The college administration was very efficient and responsive. I could easily contact any department, such as IT or academic affairs, and get prompt assistance.
Dislikes
- The program I attended was not very helpful in terms of providing us with connections for job opportunities. I felt that they could have done more to support us in finding suitable employers.
- Another issue I saw was the overcrowding of some Programs. It was difficult for some students to register for the courses, and sometimes they had to waitlist for a long time or take courses from other colleges. This is stressful and inconvenient, especially since students had to maintain a minimum of 9 credits per semester to keep their student status in Canada and work part-time.
Placement
Our college gave us next to no support in terms of post study placements. But In Canada context, students often have to look for job opportunities themselves. The idea of post study placement is not very prevalent in Canadian education culture.
I learned a lot from Langara college. It really helps students in terms of overall development of an individual. But it is a little lacking in terms of job opportunities.

- The faculty members are supportive and are always ready to help. They have a defined structure of the course and believe more in practical concepts than theoretical. Every semester has group projects and even individual projects.
Dislikes
- I personally liked everything during my time. There are activities in every semester and deadlines are always tight which might be good for some and not for others. The classes could even end at 10 at night.
Placement
It depends on person to person, have to be open to move in different provinces if required. The college doesn’t provide placement so students have to find jobs for themselves.
It was good, I have provided all the required details which could answer this question in above questions.

- I had my mind to get in a well known college in Vancouver and Langara was the best option.
Placement
Placements after diploma are quite rare. So you might be a lucky kid just try to maintain CGP and try to get a co op course which increases the chances to get a job or any placement in the company college is just to prepare you.
The college is good but the structure of picking up courses is quite bad many students lack behind time due to their work and are sometimes unable to register courses.

- Initially, it becomes difficult for every student to cooperate with any institutions matters. But eventually one becomes familiar. Getting admission into my college is really fun as one experiences a lot of extracurricular activities, sometimes a far college student. Also get chair massages for free during exams, so as to ease the tension. We also get health and dental benefits.
Placement
Usually there are two career fairs every year in our college. Companies like Providence, healthcare, call mom, hotel management, companies, and accounting companies often visit our college.
I chose this university because it offers entrance to only those students with 85 percentile and above. Moreover, the marking criteria of this college is a very tough pants. It prepares the student for further competitive exams. There are many extracurricular activities a student can do.
