One of the best colleges in metro Vancouver in terms of infrastructure, curriculum, and faculty. More than 20000 students were enrolled in college back in the day. Experience was good i got lot of lessons experiences memories. College life is good and enjoyed too. The college is good in terms of infrastructure. Events and all. Overall I would say it was good. None, nothing was required to get into college. They didn't ask for any kind of SoP, LoRs, or CV. I got enrolled in 2020. Back in the day process was really smooth to get into langara.
Course Curriculum
Course curriculum depends on the course you're getting into as i have been into computer sciences and i got 3.2 GPA. According to me curriculum is updated and teaching on smart devices updated OS.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is about 15 to 20 by 1 and some of them are really nice some of them are really strict but my experience with Bryan Green was incredible.
Campus Life
When it comes to infra structure building T is the science department, which was constructed recently, and the college has cafes, restaurants and a lot of sitting areas. For extracurriculars college has a basketball court, playground and big hall with a seating capacity of almost 2500 for convocations and big events.
Placement
It is all about the way of your dedication and passion... you have to apply for volunteering to get Canadian experience. After 3 months of experience as a volunteer, you could easily get into a good company with a good wage. It is not about college at all. Gettin a job here is all about experience and reference.
Accommodation
I rented a place out of college i didn't got any hostel facility. So I don't know much about accommodation on campus and about rooms i don't have any information.
Exams
-IELTS overall band score requirement is 6.5 but shouldn't be less than 6 in any module. GRE SAT ACT TOEFL doesn't ask for any of them if you have cleared your IELTS with 6.5. They could get you in with TOEFL 80, but it would be better if you have cleared your IELTS. -No interviews or tests were required to get into college as mentioned, I enrolled back in 2020 in those days process was really smooth to get into Langara.
Fees
The fee for international students is $635 per credit. For associate degree graduation, 60 credits are required. So, the fee for the full program is $635x60= $38100. Gonna cost around 40000 CAD.
Scholarship
