I am loving it . It's a hassle - free life here , with less people and no traffic . Education is going good , so many activities and parties on campus to network and socialize with many people . It's bit medium to large campus with full of nature .We have a on campus lake and forest with so many ducks . Buildings are well maintained with different facilities with free wifi. Constantly different activities happen all around campus , GYM , Big building for library and sports facilities and clubs. Many buildings related to nursing , research etc.

Overview
First and foremost, the campus and location. I love Northern Ontario and it's wildlife. There is an overwhelming feeling of calm whenever I am in Thunder Bay from the moment I land, very different from the hustle and bustle of Toronto. Secondly, the faculty. I first met the faculty at a college/university fair in Toronto in my grade 12 year, and they were so nice and welcoming. They weren't condescending or judgmental and answered all my questions - unlike the other schools. Thirdly, I wanted to be out on my own. Thunder Bay is very far from my home and when I was coming here, that's what I needed.

There are scholarships available to international, full and part-time students. My program is approximated $9000 per year, which is the average for the school. Most scholarships are based on financial need. Loans are available through the government and financial institutions. Fees cover tuition, gym, bus pass, student unions and societies, and other aspects of education.

The location was appealing to me and I had family in the city if I needed help with anything. I also had friends in the city and knew the city well. I heard it was one of the best places for nursing as you get to start placements in year 1.

I believe that nursing students pay a lot more than we should. We pay for things for clinical placements as well as mandatory textbooks for our classes. On top of this, parking should be free as we already pay $7500 or more a year to attend the university.
