- "Diversity is the main attraction. Here you get to explore different cultures as well as you also get to meet career focused people who already were well settled but now starting again from scratch. "

- "Nothing to dislike for me. This was the best experience for me so I can't say I dislike anything about this college. Yes if you don't like to socialize or are against the view of meeting new mindset people then you should stay away from this one. "
Placement
There is no placement or research opportunities other than the basic ones required by each course. You will definitely get a chance to do your own work which you can approach any faculty with and they will definitely help you out and provide resources and connections to their max extent.
The main reason I chose this college was firstly because of reputation and secondly because of location. This was the best experience I had so far in my study life as I got to meet so many new people.

- A short program with a specialized concentration. Wanted to explore an 8 months post grad program before I pursed a masters degree.
- The Professors were very helpful and showed interest in teaching. The infrastructure was decent and the college had facilities like a gym and other sports clubs.
Dislikes
- The post-grad opportunities were very less and students found difficulties in getting a field-related job due to lack of placements and the value of the degree itself.
Placement
The post-study placement is not impressive at all and the College didn't have any research opportunities for my program. We just had 2 sessions with CIBC and TD Bank, but they too were looking for something better than just a post-grad certificate.
Overall, it was a pretty below-average experience at George Brown College, as the degree didn't meet my expectations. I was expecting to get industry-related jobs but had difficulties in finding one because a post-graduate certificate is not valued like a Master's Degree.
Placement
Well I’m a first sem student so I don’t really have much information on that. But currently GBC have over 4000 jobs position on its student career site
There is no requirement of LOR or SOP for this course, but you do require a resume and there is no interview for this course Well it’s had a good reputation among other colleges and was recognised among companies Overall I do like college experience, helps me connect with new people. Just that the professors are pretty underwhelming. They don’t really teach

Placement
I will have to admit that there is a scarcity for jobs. Students usually have to continue with odd jobs because they are unable to get field jobs.
My overall experience has been very good yet. I haven’t faced any problems as such due to my college. It has been above my expectations in every field.

- One of the top universities. And only this college had my program.
Placement
Pretty bad. Right now its recession. No one is hiring. You’ll have to keep applying for the job. I have applied 100’s of jobs. It’s difficult hearing back from them.
Amazing. Everyday is a new day. Get new experiences and meet new people. Faculty is good. Infrastructure is well maintained. Transit is convenient. Have various places to hangout with friends like coffee shops, beaches, restaurants. Everything is in walking distance. Overall a very good experience so far.
Placement
For Co-op companies will hire just make sure you are as earlier as possible. For Jobs companies do visit but make into the company totally depends on your skills.
Whole IT department has different campus. Located in center Downtown of Toronto. Relative course with less duration.
Placement
With pandemic in action and job shortage everywhere around the world, It is a little difficult to find jobs easily right now. The placement process at GBC is great. We had some good companies from health and IT sector during our virtual career fair.
George brown is a renowned designated learning institute (DLI). As I was searching for Health Informatics program and GBC was the only college offering a pgdm. The best part about GBC is that most of its programs have CO-OP opportunity, which helps a student get some relevant paid experience in their respective field of study. Being a dental graduate from India, I wanted to pursue my masters degree in Canada but as our degree is not accredited by the Canadian government, I had to choose for a different course. Health Informatics at that time seemed to be the best option as it is one of the rapidly emerging field in the health sector. Especially during the pandemic everyone could realize how important it is to augment information technology with the health sector.
Placement
Students usually find jobs in the relevant field after the program is over. The students who perform well and have a good portfolio are usually absorbed directly into prestigious Video Game companies like Ubisoft Toronto.
The main factor in choosing GBC was the program included specialization in the field I wish to work in the future. No other college provided that. Another factor was the professors are top-class. Most of them are industry professionals and teach industry techniques. Lastly, the college is in Toronto and has world-class facilities and a campus.
Placement
As the college is located in Downtown Toronto a lot of the companies have good affiliations and regularly seem to hire from college, the course is taught by industry professionals so they contribute a bit to placement as well. The college's placement cell is also proficient. All in all good opportunities.
It is one of the oldest & best colleges in Downtown Toronto. As it is Downtown the Part-time & full-time Job opportunities are also ample.
Placement
The teachers from the University of Toronto are a plus point. Mandatory co-op helps students get an internship and after the course, the internship can be a full-time job.
I chose this college as it was giving me the exact same course that I always wanted with a mandatory co-op. Also, it was in the heart of the city -Toronto, so choosing this college for my studies was a good choice.
