Centennial College offers 3 intakes throughout the year. September intake (fall) is the main intake for most of the courses. Winter and Summer intakes are considered the secondary intakes. The College offers over 200 programs, flexible in online, hybrid, and on-campus study modes. Centennial College has an estimated acceptance rate of 67%.

Centennial College follows a rolling admissions process, meaning applications are assessed as they are received until program seats are filled. However, Indian students are strongly advised to apply 4 to 6 months before their intended intake to allow sufficient time for admission processing, tuition deposit payment, and Canadian study permit (visa) formalities. The application fees to apply for admission at Centennial College are CAD 125 (INR ₹8129).

For admission to Centennial College, Indian students need CBSE/CISCE Class 12 or State Board Year 12 with strong results. Some programs accept mature applicants or those with partial degrees and work experience. Indian students need to show English language proficiency with an IELTS score of 6.0 to 6.5, TOEFL iBT score of 80 to 88 or equivalent. Documents like academic transcripts, a Portfolio, a letter of interest and a CV are required for admission.

FAQs:

Ques: Can I apply to Centennial College if I am still waiting for my final Class 12 or bachelor’s results?

Ans: Yes. Indian students who are awaiting final results can still apply to Centennial College. In such cases, the college may issue a conditional offer, based on available academic records such as predicted scores, provisional mark sheets, or previous semester results. However, you must submit your final transcripts and certificates before enrollment to convert the offer into an unconditional one.

Ques: Does the PAL guarantee approval of my Canadian study permit?

Ans: No. The PAL does not guarantee visa approval. It only confirms that your study place is supported by the province and counts toward Ontario’s international student allocation. Final approval of your study permit depends on factors such as:

  • Financial documentation
  • Academic background
  • Statement of Purpose (SOP)
  • Overall compliance with IRCC requirements

Ques: What happens if my preferred intake or program gets full before I apply?

Ans: Since Centennial College follows a rolling admissions system, popular programs, especially for the Fall (September) intake can fill up quickly. If seats are no longer available, the college may:

  • Offer you a deferred intake (next available term), or
  • Suggest a related or similar program with open seats

Overview

I chose this college as it has a good name and power, and Centennial is one of the first community colleges in Ontario.

No I have not submitted any of the mentioned documents. Centennial College's well-qualified and experienced teachers, great laboratory facilities, exceptional Co-operative Education programs, and the inspiration provided to students will provide me with an appropriate foundation for achieving my goals.

Overview

No didn’t have to submit anything just my bachelors results were submitted. Reason for choosing this college: The program of my choosing and allowing to come ASAP they also had prompt replies. I would say its okay but would suggest some other cllg that has better placement options and less fees. I would also recommend going for university or to a RNIP program if you want your PR. They are more focused on extracurricular activities than on studies and so its okay if you don’t have other options but this should probably be your second choice

Overview

My experience at college was multifaceted and rewarding. The educational environment offered a blend of theoretical learning and practical exposure through labs and industrial tours, fostering holistic growth. Despite the pandemic's impact, the available facilities like the library, gym, and engaging student programs contributed significantly to my overall development, making it a memorable phase.

It was just fine I believe mostly due to work pressure and shortage of jobs in the market although it is part time so better work that out and college was ok.

Overview

My overall experience so far has been very well. It is your own responsibility to exploit all the resources available at your disposal for your academic and professional success. You have to reach out yourself to make connections which is the most vital part of your success in Canada.

Scholarship

Yes, I completed two programs from same college. I received a loyalty scholarship of 1500 CAD for my second program since I got admitted into the same college again. This was for my first semester. I am yet to receive another 1500 CAD which is an academic performance based scholarship (you have to score at least 3.5 GPA in semester 1 to receive this second round of scholarship) So in total I received 3000 CAD in scholarships.

Overview

My experience is really wonderful because it has a great infrastructure with all the basic things you may need with all the hygiene and cleanliness and the campus is really good with a really nice marketplace to have lunch and enjoy time with friends.

Overview

I would say a complete wastage of money and resources if you want to build a career out of one course. These courses can be helpful if you have extra money to learn something just for the sake of obtaining knowledge( that too by doing assignments) or getting a post graduation work permit.
