What Students Say

- This is a very important question. The best suggestion that I have is, choose your program first, then your college. Study or find a program which actually creates value and gets you ready for your career instead of looking for colleges/campuses. Once you find the perfect fit, then decide what college suits you best.
- For me, it was Centennial because of the value it provided, it’s reputation, it’s faculty, it’s infrastructure (both technological and physical), it’s location and the most important of all the diversity. When you are coming to study from thousands of miles from your home, you should be looking for different people and different cultures rather than engaging just in people from your country/ region. It helps you build character and connections which helps in the long run.
Required Exams for Admission
My overall experience so far has been very well. It is your own responsibility to exploit all the resources available at your disposal for your academic and professional success. You have to reach out yourself to make connections which is the most vital part of your success in Canada.
Course Curriculum
Come to Centennial only and only if you want to study and manage your day reallocated hard. The curriculum is not very updated but is relevant to the industry.
Faculty
It depends on the program you are studying. For me it usually is 60:1.
Campus Life
Campus has free wifi and gym, sports, library and research facilities are included in your fees.
Placement
We have yet to start the COOPs and internships for our program. But the college and faculty does arrange for company visits and sessions in the college. However getting a job offer is entirely the student’s responsibility. The average starting salary could be between 35000 CAD to 45000 CAD per annum. This figure varies based on your individual approach, the company, your experiences, expertise and qualifications.
Accommodation
For students, sharing is the best option. An individual basement could cost you around 2000 CAD in total. This figure totally varies from location to location and the proximity to college, markets and downtown.
Exams
I had to give IELTS in which I scored an overall band of 7.0. You may or may not have a diverse background. Letter of recommendation, SOP. Try to mention your past accomplishments and why do you want to get admission into the desired program. How your selection for this program can help you achieve your future goals. If not sure about your goals try connecting your past education background and/or experience with the selected program.
Fees
My total fees for Supply Chain Management for the year 2023 is 18800 CAD. This DOES NOT include fee for books which can cost around 800-900 CAD for the entire program.
Scholarship
Yes, I completed two programs from same college. I received a loyalty scholarship of 1500 CAD for my second program since I got admitted into the same college again. This was for my first semester. I am yet to receive another 1500 CAD which is an academic performance based scholarship (you have to score at least 3.5 GPA in semester 1 to receive this second round of scholarship) So in total I received 3000 CAD in scholarships.
